I know right,,,Very sweet!!

It annoys me, you know?
First, do they think Brian and Roger would just take someone off the street? Just anybody????
Second, when they heard Adam would lead this tour, all they had to do was to go to YT and be blown away.
I'm tired of these fckin snobs.

I have to be honest, I have been a fan of Adam since his auditioned with BoRap and I am amazed by how great he sounds. I can't imagine how blown away strangers are by Adam's performance.
Silvia' date='Jun 23rd 2014, 11:33 PM
True. Even after six years he surprises and amazes me but I knew he was great 5 secs into his audition in SF.
There's is something very condescending and snobbish about all these "Adam is doing better than I expected" comments.
For me, at least :/

I'm tired of them too.
but they are getting schooled!!!!!In a big way!!!
It doesn't matter that they didn't GET Adam before... The point is that they are 'discovering' him NOW!!!!
He will get them one at a time and I personally love the "OMG, I didn't know" tweets!
:bleh:

Personally, I love that feeling of discovering somebody new as an artist. That initial excitement of wanting to find out everything about them.
I have yet to find somebody like Adam, though.
Silvia' date='Jun 23rd 2014, 11:37 PM
I agree, mama. I also like the "OMG, I didn't know he could sing like that" and other versions of it but it's the comments like the one I quoted that piss me off.
loxie' date='Jun 23rd 2014, 11:43 PM
It seems that when people make these comments they are being covetous of Queen as an already established icon that they had personally discovered. Then, add someone new to the equation and it's a new discovery all over again. Many people who attend a Queen concert as older Queen fans are not "up" on the music scene and probably have never heard Adam even on Youtube. I think we Adam fans should welcome these novice Adamized people proudly with open arms and not feel offended.

Totally agree.. <3

I agree... but then... there are those who go overboard in the welcoming ...

I am a bitch. @adamlambert does not have to do Freddie Mercury justice. He just needs to be his own amazing self. He HAS arrived people.

@amr82261 @adamlambert Oh dear. Now I know where Clay Aiken's fans disappeared to. They have returned.
bridgette12' date='Jun 23rd 2014, 11:46 PM
yeah it do come across sometimes as been snobbish sometimes, but the important thing is that they will remember his name and it will now on be associated with the greatest rock band of all time, Queen.
I'm certainly loving hearing all the praise for Adam from non Glamberts.
And I'm so happy that he's able to perform in such a major production with all these disco ball lights and costumes :haha: ...and w/ rock legends, of course. He deserves every bit. He's earned it with his hard work and exceptional talent.
