My sister and I had the best time ever at this show. I also should have never worried about my seat because it was so awesome and I have never been so close to or had so such a good view of Adam at previous concerts I've been to. It was surreal. I felt like I could reach out and touch him and he is so beautiful in person and oozes such charisma. He really is just a star. My sister thought he looked like a hotter, younger George Michael and she loved his dance moves, smile, and strut. She is completely sold on him now and thinks he is such a great performer. We were one level up from the floor closest to the stage, second row, but no one was seated in the two seats in front of us in the first row so we had an unobstructed view of him and he literally was in front of us so many times that I could hardly believe my luck. He was constantly at our side of the stage and up on the ramp looking down at us on our side. I do have some decent video and pics but I have no idea how to post such things. The videos are shaky because I was trying to dance and clap at the same time, but the sound is good.
Some of my favorite moments from the show were WWTLF, Killer Queen-his back and forth with Brian during this was hysterical, Somebody to Love ending, the call and response with the crowd when he asked if it was too complicated, the snuggie comment, and The Show Must Go On. It all really was amazing and LOML was so emotional with Brian. You could really see he was touched by the crowds response to him. I was surrounded by lots of Queen fans who only had to say positive things about Adam except one who kept calling him a fruity little f****t during Killer Queen, but he was so drunk off his ass I'm surprised he didn't fall over the railing so I just blocked him out. Several Queen fans were yelling out good job to Adam after songs, particularly after WWTLF. The guy behind me said he had to give credit where credit is due and said Adam is actually better than Freddie on a couple songs. Overall one of the best experiences of my life, worth every penny, I don't think short of actually giving Adam a hug I could have been closer to him, and I wish I had more money because I would go to more shows!!
Sounds awesome...jlynn1205....I totally agree with you....
This Detroit concert seemed Queen centric....there were many hard core Queen fans in attendance .....
from the very beginning of Now I'm Here ....they were into this concert !!!
they sang and cheered through out every song....and loved Adam too.....which I was happy for that....
They really showed the love to Brian & Roger.....and when they showed Freddies's pics...they went crazy....
There where many Queen fans beside & in front of me....they loved the whole show....it seemed
They were all in their 40's and had been to many Queen concerts back in their younger days....
One lady had her original Queen Tshirt on....very cute.....
There were 4 guys in front of me that all had the same birthday as Brian May....and told everyone....
They loved Brian's solo....and cheered excitedly when the old pics were shown....
They loved Roger as well....and really yelled and cheered for Adam and his big vocals !!!
I thought Brian & Roger & Adam were very touched...especially Brian
You should've 'accidentally' bumped that drunk on over the railing.... "OOOOOPS! Sorry sir, it's dark in here" :whistling:
 exactly :haha:
also wanted to tell.......those 4 guys I mentioned.. in front of me....were talking before the concert started.....
one guy said with an eyeroll  ..."I wonder what Lambert will be wearing....probably something weird.'
Then...one of the other guys said.....'Well...so did Freddie".....
I had to chuckle to myself....loved hearing that
