Ok so now that I’m home and have finally gotten to put my pictures online, i’m also going to write my experience on June 22nd:D So the day for me was alright. We got in the line at about 10:45am. It wasn’t too long then. So we just hung out there, got comfortable and all that like everyone else.
At 2:15 my 2 friends left to go check into our hotel so I met the nice ladies behind me and sat with them for the time. So my friends we gone...3:30 came and went, 5:00 came and went, and I was starting to panic because the girls I was with are from NY and said that traffic from Nokia to 99th street where our hotel was could be crazy at that time, and my friend had my ticket! I didn’t even think to get it from her before they left. So I was starting to think like oh crap, what the hell am I going to do if they aren’t back by the time the line starts going in! Luckily they showed up at like 5:30, I think so panic attack ended lol. It turned out my friend had left her phone in a cab and had to go to a version store to replace it.
They had been so rushed doing that and trying to get back on time and we ended up not getting the supper they were going to bring back so the 3 of us just went without it. By the time the doors opened, I had been in that line for over 8 hrs. Didn’t leave at all. No bathroom, no food. Just in line the whole time. I had a bottle of water and a bottle of coke that day and that was it lol.
So we got in there, and got pretty close to the front. Probably about 6 or 7 people away from the front. One friend left almost right away and went up in the seats. Than just before Allison started my other friend left and went over just out of the crowd and stayed there to take video. So I really enjoyed Allison and Orianthi was pretty good. Then came the RIDICUOUS like 40 min wait between her and Adam. I was getting really overwhelmed. About 4 people away from the stage now. By about 35 mins into the break I had my long sleeve shirt off, my wrist bands off, my necklace off, rings off, retainer out, and had bummed gum off the lady next to me. Seriously on the verge of passing out at that point. Thought I was gonna be gone before he even stepped on the stage. So if he had started 5 minutes later than he had I would not have been where I was. But luckily I said in my head “If the next song that comes on is not FYE I’m going for water before I pass out”, and then FYE started lol.
I have to admit that I had tears in my eyes when Adam stepped onto the stage. I don’t think I could have been smiling any bigger and suddenly all the bad feelings that I had were just gone. I didn’t feel anything by joy and happiness of being in his presence for the next hour. I can’t even really describe being a witness to that voice. It was just mind blowing. Almost dropped my camera at that Adam/Tommy lick. Seriously hot. Aftermath almost had me in tears again. Very close, had a lump in my throat. The show went by SOOOO fast.
When the show ended and I got feeling back in my body, as soon as I moved it was like agony. Muscle spasms in my back that were so bad it felt like someone was stabbing me, and my feet hurt so much that I could barely stand to put them to the floor with each step, and the overwhelming feeling like I was going to pass out was back. So I went to the lobby and to the bar, where I saw the bartender giving a girl a cup of ice. The bar was closed but he had given it to her so I asked to and he refused me. >:( He was lovely. Told him I was going to pass out if I didn’t get water and he just said sorry and went about his cleaning. Thanks buddy! Anywho, found my friends and managed to get over to McDonald’s across the street without passing out. But man, the concert was so worth the pain. That man is just magnificent. Omg. So so worth it.
