REVIEW!

OMGGA OFJSODFH;ASDIF OKOK, SO MY BRAIN IS STILL PROCESSING FROM WHAT HAPAPENED LAST NIGHT.

Before the show:
I arrived at 6 pm and there was this LOOOONG LIINEE and I was like "OH CRAP" and went all the way to the back. I thought me and my mom were gonna be the last ones to get in but there were STILL MORE PEOPLE coming and the line extended until the point where the driveway turned, maybe. So I waited and waited until the doors opened and we finally moved and I was like YAYAYAYAA. The line was slow because the 9:30 staff people/wtever stops us where the buses have to get in. There was this allyway where they fit the buses, and I SAW TAYLOR THERE SITTING WITH A CREW PEEPS AND HE WAS WEARING A GLASSES AND A HAT. I wasn't sure if it was him but then I remembered a twitpic of him and Sasha somewhere (prolly Atlantic City, because there was a beach in the bg) and they were drinking something and Taylor was wearing the same glasses and hat! OSHFAKDFH;AS. I wanted to say hi but I don't wanna intrude. :*

During the show (Adam's part):
SO OMG. When he entered with Voodoo/DTRH, he ascended with a lift I think with his FULL ON GLITTERY COSTUME, I was like, "HOLY SHT WHAT PLANET AM I IN? OMGOMG HE CAN'T BE REAL. THIS ISN'T REAL. DFKHSKFHKA." And started flailing sooo much, I almost hit the other person next to me. HAHAHA.

Fever- OMG ADOMMY KISS. I FLAILED EVEN MORE AND SCREECHED POSSIBLY. I DON'T EVEN SHIP THEM.
I forgot which song he was singing when he said the wet joke and the "You're a sexy fckin crowd!" I laughed so hard, hahaha. He also called us pretty o:) . TEEHEEHEE.

Music Again- DAMN he was FRISKY! A lot of Adommy action going on.

IIHY- Everyone sang along to this, omg it was BEAUTIFUUULLLL. Like when he sang the line "If I had youuu" and then he points his microphone to us and we sang "That/life/loliforgotthelyrics would be the only thing I'd eeeever neeeedddd" and so on.
(Also a lotta fist pumpin and jumping up and down during his sets)

Aftermath- OMG THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL. I CAN'T EVEN. His voice was SO perfect. People were REALLY feeling the song. SO OMG. There's this cute gay couple a row behind me who was snuggling during this song and one was closing their eyes and REALLY FEELING the emotional lyrics. OMG IT WAS SO CUTE.

WLL- OH MY SHT. I WAS LOSING IT. I flailed tooo much. The notes he hit, was just...wow.

Other things: Lots of gays/gay couples and Adam look-a-likes. Also lots of husbands/dads/boyfriends and moms/girlfriends/wifes and teens. At the end, Longineu threw his drumsticks and these 2 ladies in front of me were grabby and had a little fight over who gets the drumsticks, haha. I was like, "OMGOMG PLS DON'T KILL ME" since they were like animals. HAA. So between the bands, stage crew set up the stage, and stuff yadayadayada. AND THEN I SAW NEILLL. HAHAH. He looked...paler? IRL. idkidk, he looks somewhat different but still the same. I think its the hair. Also, I kept waving my phone at Adam (lol), and I THINK HE SAW ME. OMGOMGG. I am positive he took a glimpsed at me and my phone! ash;faodhfalkdfja.

After the show:
So I went to the barricades after the show and saw these drag queens. One was this guy who was wearing a tight police costume thing with spikes on his shoulder. And this other one who had big hair. It was pretty awesome. I had to leave like 10 minutes later because my mom's bladder was about to explode and she wanted me to leave. IDKWHY she didn't go to the bathroom earlier. :| So when I arrived home and checked my Twitter, people were saying that he went out to sign autographs. I WAS SOOOO PISSED OFF SOOSOSOSOOSOSOO MUCHSFHCH OMG. I blamed it on my mom's weak bladder. :/ Then I said to myself to calm me down. "Don't worry, there are still other people who didn't even get to meet him at the other tour stops, there is still next time when he comes here again, someday, you WILL get his autograph and meet him." HAHA I TRIED BEING POSITIVE AND IT WORKED. So overall the show was the best yet! and Neil said on twitter that DC was one of the best crowds! Adam was AMAZING AND FRISKY I loveeedd it so much!

(He did more songs than the ones I listed above, I just didn't wanna type it all. Ha.)

THANK YOU SO MUCH ADAM, YOU ARE BEYOND EPIC. <3
ETA: I didn't realize it was that long. Sorry. lol

pretty nice/accurate review.

and yes, i did wake up this morning with a pounding headache and ringing in my ears hahaha. SO WORTH IT. i can't even believe last night was real.

and yeah, neil was def there and i was flailing everytime he ran across the stage because i am weirdly in love with him and my friend kept saying how much he looked like adam (except "cuter" which MIGHT be true just because adam is hot/pretty/handsome i probably wouldn't use the word cute). at one point (maybe the end?) neil went over to the side of the stage and was just talking to other stagehands and was like scoffing at the crowd haha and i was just staring at him and he saw me and like smirked and waved this obvious i-know-you're-watching-me-and-know-i'm-adam's-brother kind of wave. so i waved back and then a bunch of people waved at him haha it was the BEST.

also there was an adam lookalike in the first few rows that we referred to as Fake Adam and it was UNREAL how much he looked like him. a little chubbier though. haha. good entertainment before Real Adam came on though ;)

I didn't post this last night when there were 150 people in this thread because I didn't want to interrupt the flail (and also didn't want them to eat me), but karma worked in my favor last night.

1. In the break after Orianthi I looked at the bouncer to my left (i was in the front row, on house left/stage right) and casually asked if he knew who Adam was. He said "Uhh he was an American Idol guy right?" and I said yeah. The bouncer said he had heard the soundcheck and he sounded pretty good. I told him Adam usually holds back in soundcheck and was all kinds of ridiculous during the live shows, and that I bet he would be impressed. The bouncer sort of nodded and shrugged and had an open mind. During one of the costume changes I glanced at him- he was blatantly staring at the stage in awe, not doing his job policing the cameras. Another bouncer elbowed him and he went after the cameras again. After the show, I went to the barricades and it was the same bouncer watching them. He asked if I liked the show. I said it was awesome. He agreed and looked genuinely impressed. Then he stared at me and smiled and said "be right back" and disappeared backstage, and reemerged with the setlist, which he gave to me. :w00t: The people around me were staring at me quizzically/jealously.

2. Another person who shall remain nameless asked me if I wanted the setlist signed. I thought unnamed meant by them. Unnamed disappeared and came back with it signed....by Adam. The people around me looked murderous. But it didn't end up mattering, because Adam came out shortly after and signed things! So I wound up with two- a setlist and a ticket envelope.

Not mentioning names because I don't want the person to get inundated with requests- I have a feeling they only did this specifically for DC, for me because they knew me, and for another woman because they knew her too.

don't eat me.... :">

Great little review from the Washington Blade:

Adam Lambert raises the roof

Chris Johnson

Even the Blade’s political reporter needs to cut loose every once in a while, which is why I was psyched to cover Adam Lambert’s concert in D.C. earlier this week.

The gay pop sensation — arguably most successful and talented second-place winner on Fox’s “American Idol” — performed at D.C.’s 9:30 Club on Monday as part of his “Glam Nation” tour.

Lambert entered the stage in his usual over-the-top attire. Wearing a fearthered top hat and a long purple coat, he looked somewhat like a cross between a pimp and Abraham Lincoln.

Many of the songs from his latest album made up the performance, including “What Do You Want from Me?”, “Ring of Fire” and “If I Had You.” My personal favorite, “Fever,” a song was written by Lady Gaga, was among the songs he sang.

Lambert altered his attire throughout his performance to accord with the mood for his songs, although each outfit was stylish. By the end, he was wearing a sleeveless vest with black boots and sparkly pants — in my opinion, a very hot outfit.

Never one to shy away from controversy — even to the consternation of some conservatives — Lambert engaged in a little intimacy with a bandmate as part of his performance. As he sang ”Fever,” he stroked his bass guitarist’s hair momentarily and gave him a smooch on the lips.

I was a little surprised that “For Your Entertainment,” the eponymous song from Lambert’s latest album, wasn’t included in his performance. Instead, just before Lambert came on stage, a recording of the track was played. It’s too bad because it’s one of my favorite songs and I would have liked to hear him perform it live.

The sold-out performance was packed with a diverse audience ranging from gay men, lesbians, punk rockers, pre-teens and soccer moms. It’s amazing that Lambert fans — sometimes referred to as “Glamberts” — make up so many different types of people.

Jeanni Centofanti, a former Blade staffer and lesbian D.C. resident, said she attended the concert because of Lambert’s transformational impact on the music scene.

“Adam is a fabulous spectacle and he’s bring back mainstream glamrock and goth in a way that hasn’t been done since the 1970′s,” she said.

His engagement with the crowd made the 9:30 club — a smaller venue enabling each person in the audience to be at least somewhat near the performer — an excellent venue.

“Washington D.C, what’s up people?” Lambert shouted at one point. “You’re a sexy freaking crowd tonight!”

Lambert added he was “distracted” from his singing “by all the pretty people” in the audience.

The crowd — singing along to the songs and dancing in the limited space available – ate up Lambert’s performance.

During “If I Had You,” one of the closing songs, Lambert asked the crowd to sing the chorus for him, which they gladly did at the top of their lungs.

In all, a rocking performance from Lambert that I thoroughly enjoyed along with all the Glamberts in attendance.

ADAM LAMBERT, the ALPHA MALE

Why Did Adam's Aggression Set Twitter Twittering and Hearts Thumping Across the Nation?

Adam Lambert is arguably the sexiest man in the entertainment industry today. Just one short article written by

Allegra Huston in June of last year titled "What Is It About Adam Lambert?" generated 24,398 posts by women

confirming their feeling of attraction to this stunningly gorgeous and talented young man. This number is not for views but for post, which is practically unheard of. The phenomenon spawned the book "On the Meaning of Adam Lambert" written by Juneau & Xena. Juneau & Xena are currently caravanning around the US following Lambert's Glam Nation tour promoting and selling their book and faux tattoos replicating Adam's own Eye of Horus tattoo to like-minded libido activated and diverse masses of women.
Otherwise know as Juneau Underwood and Katherine Hollinsworth these highly educated and respectable women and legions of others like them are experiencing fan fever reminiscent of a cross between Elvis Presley & Jerry Garcia. With Adam they not only admire him sexually and musically, they follow the Glam Nation Tour across the country.

In my own recent book I devote a chapter to explaining why and how Adam's alpha maleness triggers such ardent fans.Just recently at the 930 Club in Washington DC Adam was performing on stage singing "Sure Fire Winners" a song from his much acclaimed album "For Your Entertainment" and a security guard got in the way of a Glambert photographing him. Although Adam was in the midst of performing, without missing a beat Adam kicked at the security guard and as the guard moved out of the way Adam incorporated "get out, get, out" into his lyrics and then came back and in fierce rock & roll fashion told the Glambert to "Take my picture bitch".

Adam Lambert: Fan Favorite in Washington DC

Showing some love to his adoring fans, Adam Lambert was spotted doing a meet and greet after his gig in Washington DC last night (June 28).

The “For Your Entertainment” singer looked to be in good spirits as he signed autographs and posed for pictures outside the 930 club

And it sounds like Adam’s single “Whataya Want From Me” is doing quite well on the airplay charts this week.

Lambert’s tune has edged out Carrie Underwood’s “Undo It” to claim the top spot of singles by “American Idol” alum.
