my recap 4 this thead
as far all the dramas. last nite I am gonna blame twitter, for this :bleh:
lock out on adam communications is drama for the soul
and someone having 2 deal with a homophobe as first intel...and nothing for hours after, 2 balance out all reviews from the concert right away, seemed create a bit of a downer for some
but facts 4 me
People in fact enjoyed themselves, (wish this would have came directly after,(twitter down) knowing this, I don't think it would have been time for people 2 stew in their own panicky juices)
Adam performed steller as usual..
the high far away Staging seemed 2 affect a few reg. concert goers connectivity IDEK?
People in fact enjoyed themselves
Longer than usual time delays, (many rumors as 2 why abound)
Sound guy needed a kick in the nuts, (this is not 1st sound mix issue)
Drunk people and AFL do not mix or do mix? I have do more research on that :haha:
Twitter needed a kick in the nuts, (although hopefully they upgraded their servers,4 less down
time)
I will be honest, (and this is my observation over a years time) one thing that does sadden me sometimes as a Adam fan, is people quick jump on negative as facts, without waiting for all views and perceptions before forming a solid opinion. Not saying because its negative its not true, but when the percentage is so low, waiting for more intel b4 making up your mind, if you have not seen with ur own eyes, or heard with ur own ears or witnessed, whatever said event(and this has 2 do with all things, gossip, news, rumors,) makes sense..

Wow! There certainly have been a lot of diverse opinions about last night's show, so I may as well add my two cents worth too. :)
Since I was not there I am not going to comment on whether Adam connected or disconnected with the fans but I am going to comment on the sound system. In MHO there was something definitely wrong, because if you listen very closely to the videos especially WLL you will hear feedback when he goes into his upper register. I may be wrong, but I don't think Adam has his own sound system and must rely on the reliability of the venues systems and unfortunately they don't always have things in tip top shape. Also not every sound engineer out there is compatible. I've seen where the sound check and the actual performance are different cause the soundman has changed it to what he wants to hear and not how the band wanted it set up. This really pisses off a band let me tell you. So if Adam was mad he had every right to be. There is nothing diva about that at all. After all people are paying good money to see the show and Adam wants to give nothing but 100% to his fans.
I personally loved this version of WLL. There was something very emotional in the way it was sung and if you closed your eyes you could totally lose yourself in it. But then again not everyone will get it.
Adam's voice was still stellar last night although he definitely was holding back. Either it was due to the sound system or he was resting his vocal cords from the really high notes. Adam has already had to rest his vocal cords once before on Drs. orders so he may be mellowing out as a precaution as his talking voice is hoarse. After all he has just done 3 straight shows ( with San Diego being the one where he let it all hang out) and another one tonight I believe without a day off. He may have also just been plain worn out, but this I doubt he would let show. The security guard did say he was not feeling well too. So who really knows but Adam himself and I think we should all give him a break with the criticism. Sometimes I think too much is expected of him and people forget he is human too.!

I think alot is being over analyzed or dramatized. I was there last night and it was incredible. The crowd at least in my area was nuts the whole concert. I like that Adam swtiches things up from concert to concert. I was on the side in the water where "YellatSoundGuy Gate" happened and we had a great view. I've been to the Indio show and now this one (not counting AI tour) and I feel like Adam makes it unique for each show. I don't think of it as OMG I feel cheated of this or that......Last night was so worth flying over there and back today for AZ show.

WELL!! I just wanted to say well done AFL for a fabby night in Vegas (even though I was nowhere near the continent!!)
Firstly, there was a completely justified reason for the long delay – allegedly a 10 year old child was missing . If so , for child protection reasons this could not be relayed to the audience. We all know that the sequins can hold him up on a normal night, but this was a REALLY GENUINE REASON for the delay. So Adam STARTED with a pee’d off audience .
Secondly – he’s obviously sick. According to PF half of California has flu. Gorgeous Madam has only been in California three days and she’s sick. So sick, she couldn’t last the whole show in LV. Now we know that airlines, customs, car thefts and security guards cannot hold M back from seeing Adam – so clearly this virus is HUGE. Adam was obviously croaky and it was clear in WLL that he sang as much as possible in his lower register( much applauded by Slash and others) so that he was still able to produce an astounding effort that only MEGA FANS recognised as deficient in stellar top notes. Many other artists might have called the concert off. Monte seemed especially encouraging to him and giving him credit for going on with the show.
Thirdly- Adam was really excited about The LV show – see radio interview and Danielle’s tweet (actually I really don’t spend much time on these forums !!!). His best friends were coming to the show , so he had every reason to want to do his best and must have felt so rubbish at not being on top form.
Something was up with the sound. We all know Adam is a complete perfectionist about this as is every top singer, actor and performer. If you are trying to perform when sick – this must be a complete killer.( I’m sure being the sound guy must be the worst job in the world as every venue has different issues!)
Notwithstanding ALL of the above hassle , Adam put on a show which left loads of people - and lots of newbies - feeling they had experienced a fantastic show. How about that for being a pro!

My friend (who is still sleeping btw) was extremely impressed last night. She is so not a fan of Adam, does not know his music and could never see why I am so into him, but she jumped and danced in the water like a long time fan. She said he is extremely good live, and kept telling me how much fun she was having. Now she needs to wake the f%ck up so we can get out of this room.

Vegas was nothing short of amazing. He was incredible. The venue was amazing. He looked amazing. The view he would have had from the stage amazing. The crowd was amazing! I've said it before, but he is so loved and it radiates through the crowd he can't help but feel it.

Waking up in vegas after a dream night with Adam under the stars. The concert was nothing short of what I dreamed it would be. The venue was beautiful and Adam was hot and gorgeous. Extra special treat seeing Adam walk the pathway leading to the stage. You could see his silhouette with the feather on his tophat and when the crowd saw that they went wild with screams and cheers.
Wonderful memories of another fantastic Glam Nation performance!
