Hey, I'm here to give long-overdue information on Adam's second Glam Nation in Singapore :P As I said on the other Singapore Glamnation I just discovered these threads :"> I have no idea if anyone would still be interested- but here goes:
For Your Entertainment (recorded version only)
Down The Rabbit Hole
Ring of Fire
Whataya Want from Me
Sure Fire Winners
If I Had You
No Broken Open, Music Again, and Encore. Since the F1 races had to start right on time, Adam had to strictly stick to his schedule :'(
Notable things are that Adam started off the opening medley without the jacket, only the hat. Once he hit Fever, taking off the hat as usual, he stuck to the same attire throughout. :) He still was given the pimp cane during Strut though, if you even call that a change in attire :haha:
I'd have to say sorry on behalf of all Singapore Glamberts though- I think we disappointed Adam and the rest of the Glamily. The reason why barely any fans attended is this: As others have said before, prices were insanely expensive for this particular concert. To elaborate, this Singapore GP Night Race was such that the difference in prices were due to the races, and NOT the performers. The 'race' was 3 days long- practice sessions, qualifying, and the race itself. In this case, it's the day of the actual race (26 Sep), and thus prices were sky-high.
Before the artistes were being announced, tickets could be gotten at S$398 for all 3 days. (Also another factor is which Zone the tickets would allow access into. Adam was performing in Zone 4 for 25 Sep and Zone 1 for 26 Sep. Zone 1 is the more expensive ticket) Using that ticket allows you in all Zones. However! By the time they announced which artistes were going to perform, the tickets had sold out! So the only way to get tickets were to purchase the S$1000+ tickets! As for me, I gotblackmarkettickets (you didn't hear that :whistling:), so I managed to gain access there.
So I was disappointed. The previous night, there were thousands of screaming fans. This time, there were only hundreds, and the venue was tiny. The previous night, everyone screamed when Neil appeared, and were all clamoring for a picture with him. On the second day, no one recognized him at all! (Not that I minded, I managed to have an entire conversation with him LOL. :haha: ) Also, since this was done in broad daylight, I felt that the vibe could be better. Not having Glam Nation in the dark was strange to me. Not that I disliked the performance- Adam was epic and I loved every second of it! Just felt the atmosphere could be better and was rather annoyed at the race organizers for assigning him the afternoon timeslot :/
Though the fan incident was incredibly cute. :haha: Love you Adam!! <3
Hey there! :w00twave: I'm that GlambertHikari! No need to be shy, we're all fellow fans, aren't we!
Don't worry guys, Adam gets lots of love from Singapore! Let me share with you an anecdote: A local radio DJ called Boy Thunder (no idea what his real name is), actually skipped his radio shift to go for Glamnation! :haha: I met him right before the concert and chatted with him- he's a fanboy of Adam! You should check his personal twitter, he keeps talking about him (especially when Adam came over) and playing his songs on radio more than any other artiste xD After the whole experience, when I was heading back home in a car, I heard this on the radio:
'....and that was Adam Lambert's Fever! Incidentally, Boy Thunder is down with a Fever, so he is unable to be with us today.'
I lol-ed my ass off :haha:
