I wasn't sure if he had ever missed pre-show, but it looks like he's not doing that either. Not the first day for post-show, though. According to a friend of mine who spoke to Ray last night, he's due back at the signings on August 26.

There's a HUGE difference between "being sick" and being on vocal rest. It's a preventative thing. They don't want him to lose his voice. I also think he's sounded just fine in the recent concert footage.

And if I may be a grandma for a second here... picking on Matt's mole is like picking on Adam's skin... not very kind!!!!

::wootwave:: I just got home from the show a few minutes ago!! It was incredible!! I really enjoyed them all, but Adam just blew me away, even though I was expecting it. I'll write a real recap in a little while when I'm more coherent (meaning after I make myself a cup of tea and take some really deep breaths, haha), but he was just too good for words. His voice sounded great to me, not strained at all! He did an incredible dance with a blue boa during Bowie, and he dan "backdoor man!" ::spaz:: I sent some twitvids, but I haven't watched them yet, and my phone only lets me take about 35 seconds of video, so that's why they're so short. Oh, and I absolutely had my phone out to record during WLL right at the "babyyyyy" part, but I was so caught up and jittery that I forgot to hit record. ::haha:: Massive fail on my part, but at least I managed to record parts of Starlight, Mad World, and Life on Mars. That gets me brownie points, right? So anyway, yeah, will post more in a few, just wanted to say that it was incredible and I am soooo glad I went. I haven't read this thread at all yet, so I'll prob skim and catch up before I post my real recap, but it will be done tonight. :)

My friend went to the show tonight...she's not a huge Idol fan, but her mom has a "cougar crush on Kris Allen" (lol, that's what her mom said to me) so she got dragged along.
She just wrote on my facebook- (read from bottom to top)

" Yes!! He looked so so .... Uhhh idk, but I thought it was cool, and he humpedthe mic stand!! Alright!!!"

-then I wrote back that I heard he dancing with the blue boa-

"The whole time I sat but when Adam came, I shot right up!!!!!! He was so cool! And someone threw a bra on stage and of course he played with it..."
"Turn ur phone on to get Adam live!"

Hope you all enjoyed my twitpics :D

I'm dead tired so I'm not gonna post a full review, but I'll post some things:

-Michael Sarver got so much love tonight!!! I was so happy for him!! I kinda fell in love with him tonight fo realz :haha: he's now officially like, my 2nd/3rd fav.
-Adam got SO much thrown on stage to him. Like wow :haha: He played around with this feather boa during fame, and he had a ball with it :haha:
- I promised myself I wouldn't take pictures, but I couldn't help myself! :haha: I took some pics, and my mom recorded the whole thing on my other camera.

Actually i'm downloading them to my computer first. Which one do you want first? Pick one of the songs ::haha::

This is so long and epic that it needs a title (I took College Writing last year, we learned how to do these things properly), so I'm calling it Laura's Epic Hartford Recap, because it's 1 AM and I'm too lazy to come up with anything better.

Okay, so really long recap coming your way right now! I'm going to recap the whole show (I'll remember more that way), but I'll bold the Adam parts, so if that's all you want to read, I'll make it easy for you.

Okay, so a few background/general things:
1) In case anyway doesn't know, I'm westerosredsock on twitter ::hello:: (major points to anyone who gets the 'westeros' reference in my name, but I won't be offended if no one does), so if you were reading my tweets tonight and didn't know who I was, yeah, that's meeee! If you were wondering if I am a 6 year old and that's why my spelling and grammar were so terrible, that's just because I have a new phone and I'm not used to texting from it yet.
2) I went with my parents tonight, because they watch Idol and wanted to go, and my friends that I watched Idol with at school this year are from California and the Philippines, respectively, and since it's summer and they're at home, they clearly weren't going to go with me. We all had a good time, but my Mom was sitting in the middle (more on why I insisted on this seating arrangement later), I only really got her reactions during the concert, so that's why I didn't tweet anything about my Dad, haha. I talked to them both about it in the car on the way home, more about all of our reactions later.
3) I really enjoyed all of the performers. (Even Gokey, shockingly enough.) It was a great crowd, loud but family friendly (our section had a huge range in ages. Everywhere from 4 years old to 60 probably. There were two older ladies sitting next to my Dad, and they were Adam fans, they left as soon as he was finished, and there was a mother and daughter (the daughter was younger than me, probably 13 or 14, tops) sitting next to me. I honestly couldn't figure out who they were fans of, they cheered and clapped for everyone, but not particularly any one person more than the others. They were equal opportunity fans, I guess.) So anyway, it was definitely an Adam crowd, and the next popular was probably Gokey, but all of the Idols got a lot of love. So that was cool. I clapped and cheered for pretty much all of them. :)
4) I left my camera at home (doh!), so just took a few pics on my phone/the videos that I tweeted, but my Mom remembered to bring hers (yay! I knew there was a reason I brought her along!), and she got some really good pics of all of the top 4, including a fantastic one of Adam with the boa. I'll post those as soon as they are uploaded, which will hopefully be tomorrow night, but they are on my Mom's camera, like I said, so it might be a few days.
5) I spoiled myself for Adam's set after the first night of the tour, but even though I'm in these threads almost every night, I hadn't watched videos of any of the others or listened to any of the cellcasts. So it was my first time hearing most of these performances, even though I knew what to expect.

Okay, now for the actual recap (I did warn you that this post was going to be reallllly long!) :

So, we left our house at 4:00ish (I live in Northeast CT, Hartford is in the middle of the state, about an hour away with no traffic), and made it to Hartford at about 5. So we parked, and then walked around for a little bit trying to find somewhere to eat. There were a lot of Idol fans wandering around (and eating at the restaurant we picked, which was Mediterranean and delicious [btw, this is totally relevant, because Scott is an Idol, and all he tweets about is food. So I'm just following in his footsteps, k?]) So anyway, I kept seeing Idol fans and there were tons of people in homemade Adam shirts and holding Adam posters ::bounce::, and not a ton of stuff for the other Idols. The girls sitting at the table next to ours were Kris fans though, I could hear them talking about him. ::haha:: (What, me, creepily listening to other peoples conversations about Idol?? NEVER!) So we ate, and then walked back to the XL Center, making it to our seats by around 6:15. We were sitting in the lower level in the section closest to the stage, in Row P, which I thought meant 16th row, but actually meant 10th row, because the rows randomly started at Row G. So that was a nice surprise. Anyway, the seats were awesome, better than a lot of floor seats I've had, with a clear and close view of the stage. The only downside was that I couldn't really see the screens on the side without craning my neck, but I didn't really care, because I could see what was happening on stage really well anyway. (Yes, I know my writing style is meandering and long-winded. Just stick with me here, it gets better, I promise.) My wonderful mother who I love very much bought me a program because I am a broke college student and I really wanted one. I didn't even have to ask, so it was very nice of her. And while it was ridiculously overpriced, it's a nice keepsake to have, so I'm glad I got one. Anyway, the next 45 minutes was filled with speculating about what the XL in XL Center stands for (extra large? ::haha::), listening to Carrie Underwood and Daughtry (and listening to my Mom go on and on about how much she loves Chris Daughtry's voice ::rolleyes:: ), and the requisite screaming that occurred every time Adam's face showed up on the screens.

Okay, so this is the part where I actually talk about the concert (see, I told you I'd get here eventually) :

I'm just going to go through each performer, lest I start confusing anyone (because I'm sure my rambling hasn't confused everyone already) So, to begin:

Sarver: I was surprised how much I enjoyed him, actually. He was fun, he started things off well, and even though I pretty much forgot about him by the end of the show, it was pretty good. He was my Mom's favorite of the first half, randomly enough, and my Dad thought he was alright, I think. Someone threw panties at him, and he picked them up, kind of awkwardly twirled them around, and threw them back into the crowd. (You could tell he doesn't get that kind of treatment often, he tried to do an Adam-ish move, but it came off awkward. He had fun with it though, so that's good. ::haha:: ) He got a good reception, the crowd clapped along and had a generally good time, I think, so he started the show off right.

Megan: She had a fro, which was really distracting, especially since her first song included the line "go ahead let your hair down," and all I wanted to do was march onto stage and pull all the pins out of her head so that she could wear her hair down. (My hair kind of looks like a fro if I don't put tons of product in it (damn Armenian genes), so I guess I don't really get why someone would make their hair look like that voluntarily? Anyway, it bothered me. A lot. But I'll stop talking about her hair now, because it's not nice to criticize other people's appearances.) Anywho, I really liked her voice on the first song. I wish that she had more training and experience, because I really think she has something there, but she can't hold the audience's attention, you know? Didn't really dig the Winehouse song. As for my parents, my Mom thought she was terrible and looked like a hooker (during the group number she said she looked like Anna Nicole Smith), and my Dad sat there with a goofy smile on his face the whole time. He really liked her voice as well as her looks, which I actually believe, because my Dad likes eclectic music. He's a big fan of Bjork, for example. So yeah, mixed reviews for Meg. I don't think her reception was as good as some of the others, but she got some cheers, and she seemed happy that people were cheering for her. Based on some of the reviews I've read of other shows, tonight was one of the best receptions she (and some of the other Idols as well) has gotten.

Scott: Not too much to say here. I thought he was better than on the show, as did my Dad, but my Mom thinks he's straight out of 1975. Which is pretty accurate, actually. The crowd enjoyed him, he got a few laughs, it was all good. Oh, and his jacket was really sparkly. I don't pay that much attention to the other Idols other than Adam usually (he's the only one I had watched videos of before tonight), so I didn't know that. I wonder if Scott knows? :P

Lil: Both of my parents loved her. She was my Dad's favorite of the first half. (And maybe of the whole show overall, not entirely sure.) I thought she was much better than on the show, and once again, she got a good reception. A lot of people were on their feet during her set. It was fun, and I thought she sounded good on "No One." Her wig looked good tonight, and her shoes were very sparkly and looked difficult to walk in. (Uhh, I think that's all I have to say about Lil. These are getting shorter and shorter. No worries, though, they'll get longer again in a sec.)

Anoop: Okay, so can I just say that I LOVED "Mad." I don't know the song well at all, not really my style of music, and it just came out of nowhere for me. People always mention his great vocals on "Always on My Mind" and how fun he is during "My Prerogative," (both of which are true) but I rarely see reviewers mention "Mad." So maybe that was why it surprised me so much. But I just thought it was fantastic, to the point where I may have to wander over to the Anoop forum and see if someone has a good mp3 of it. No idea why I loved it so much, and maybe when I listen back to it, it won't hit me as hard, but I thought it was fantastic. By far my favorite song of the first half. (Just FYI, I'm not really a big Anoop fan. I liked him fine on the show, have a few of his studios in my iTunes, but he was probably my fourth or fifth favorite, not one of my top.) But anyway, the hip thrusting seemed kind of silly and amateurish, but whatever. Someone threw something onstage (looked like a bra to me), but he just left it there. I don't know if this was true for everywhere, but a lot of people in my section got up during his set. :/ I didn't get that, but he still got the crowd going a little bit, and the people who stayed were cheering for him. (If I haven't already said it--I probably have--it was a really good crowd in general. Especially in the first half, it was kind of equal opportunity cheers, no one really stood out as the favorite.) My parents thought he was boring, which I though was silly, because I loved him. But to each his (or her) own.

Matt: So, Matt was probably my second fave of the first half. I didn't love "You Found Me," but I really, really liked both "Hard to Handle" and "Georgia," so that made up for it. I was really impressed by his piano skills (I'm a clarinetist who would love to learn piano. I dabble, because I took Music Theory in high school, but I don't play, so I have a lot of respect for those who can play, especially when they can play as well as Matt.) I was surprised that my parents, especially my Dad, didn't like it. My Dad equated his piano playing in "Hard tp Handle" to what my 5 year old nephew does on our out of tune piano :o . My Mom thought he was kind of whiny. :/ So basically, we had different favorites in the first half. What can you do? Anyway, Matt probably got the best reception from the crowd in the first half, but it wasn't significantly greater than what the other's received.

Group number: I dug the dueling pianos. The old ladies in my section were dancing the rapping. It was cute. Ummm, I thought the synchronized dancing was hilarious. (Is it bad that I love watching Scott dance?? ::ninja:: This probably makes me sound like a horrible person, but the novelty of it never wears off. ::haha:: ) Um, yeah, that's all I have to say about that. Halfway home, congrats if you've managed to hang in there with me this long! ^_^

Intermission: I stayed in my seat and chatted with my Mom, so I didn't really see much. So yeah, more Carrie Underwood and Daughtry, Adam got a lot of screams when he was shown in the Disney commercial, and that's about all I have to say. :)

Allison: I was expecting big things from her and she definitely delivered. I thought she sounded fantastic, and just enjoyed her completely. My Dad LOVED "Barracuda" (he's a big Heart fan), and my Mom liked her as well. She was gushing over the fact that she's only 17. Umm, Idk what else to say other than that she was fantastic. She didn't get the best reception, probably equal to what Anoop or Matt got in the first half, but nothing compared to what the Top 3 got. That kind of surprised me, I thought she'd be more popular here. When she mentioned the guys' names, Adam got the loudest cheers, of course.

Gokey: I originally was planning on getting up and taking a break, buying a program, etc. during his set since I stayed put during intermission, but I already had my program, and I didn't need to pee, so I ended up staying in my seat. I'm glad I did, because PYT ended up being my favorite song of his, and I surprised myself by really enjoying it. Boy's got pipes, I'll give him that much. I thought the sermon was kind of cheesy, (and I also have some issues with the way he has been publicly mourning his wife, and have since the start of Idol, so this is kind of a continuation of that, but that's a discussion for another time) but it actually didn't bother me as much as I was expecting it would. My Mom thought it was touching, and my Dad thought it was tastefully done. I think Danny's problem is that he can't hold the crowd's attention the way that Adam, Allison, and even Matt can (I kind of think that Kris has the same problem, but it's just not as obvious with his laid back vibe. More on him later though). The two Rascall Flatts songs were sung well, but didn't do much for me. Oh, and I'm already try to block "Maria, Maria" out of my mind. It was really horrifying, because when he was, ahem, "dancing" with the mic stand, he was on our side of the stage, but with his back to us, so when he leaned over, we got a nice view of his ass in the air :x . So yeah, that was not the greatest thing ever. I did like him more than I expected to, and the crowd went nuts for him. He had by far the most cheers to this point, and was probably the second favorite after Adam. (Oh, and random, but someone threw something on stage to him, but I couldn't tell what (maybe a stuffed animal? It kind of looked like oragami, haha), it was green and he kept stepping on it. I thought that was kind of random, but I'm glad he didn't slip and fall on it, although I would have laughed if he did. ::ninja:: ) Finally, he was finished, and the crowd started standing and cheering in anticipation (that's another thing about this crowd. It was loud, but at least in my section, people didn't stand much) for...

ADAM!: Okay, so as I said before, he was incredible. I'm going to go song-by-song so that I don't miss anything:

Intro/WLL: The intro was soooo loud, but it is perfect. As many people before me have pointed out, it is SO MUCH better than everyone else's, by a mile (the only other one I really remember is Matt's. I liked his. The rest? Not a clue what they even looked like). So anyway, he comes out, he has Elvis hair (much as I love the emo hair, I do love the Elvis hair as well, so no complaints here), he looks amazing, and he sounds fantastic. He definitely does have a more feminine quality to both his singing and speaking voice than comes across on TV/video, and it's much more ethereal sounding live. It just fills the room completely. Anyway, he didn't sound strained or hoarse at all, so I guess the vocal rest is helping (yay!), and he was hitting notes that were out of this world. There was a lot of microbation, and the "babyyyyyy" just seemed to last forever (like I said earlier, I had my phone out so that I could video that part of the song, and I forgot to hit record, because I was just soooo over excited, haha). It was just unbelievable to witness in person. Oh, and once again, he sang "backdoor man," which had me really, really excited and screaming like crazy. ::devil:: (Oh, and even my Dad admitted that Adam did a much better job dancing with the mic than Danny did. ::haha::)

Starlight: It is beautiful. Idk if he sang it any differently than he usually does, but sometimes in videos the "hold you IN my arms" part sounds kind of off, but it sounded great tonight. Just stunning. Oh, and I had stood up for WLL, but I was literally shaking, and was afraid my legs were going to give because I was that far gone, so I sat down for Starlight and Mad World, since they're slow anyway. I stood up again for Slow Ride and Bowie.

Mad World: It was really gorgeous. Not a whole lot different from what we've seen before, but I loved hearing it in person. Really pretty, and his voice sounded fantastic for it. Lots of blue glowsticks waving in the crowd during this one. Oh, and my Dad said it was his favorite song of the night (more on my Dad's love/hate relationship with Adam later, haha.)

Slow Ride: Again, fantastic. Adam and Allison are both fantastic solo artists, but together they are like a force of nature. I would love to see them record duet in the future, they are truly wonderful. They both seemed to be having a blast, and there was tons of stuff getting thrown on stage. Adam picked up a red bra and threw it into the audience. There was stuff all over the stage, and I'm pretty sure that there was a whip (or something else long and skinny), but he didn't pick it up, whatever it was.

Bowie: OMG. This one was def my favorite of the night. I love the transitions from slow to sexy to fast and fun. The high notes were all there, he sounded phenomenal, and the dance with the boa was A+. One of my favorite uses of props yet, I think. I'm pretty sure it was during Fame, but it may have been during Let's Dance. Time will tell once we have vids. (Hell, by the time I post this, we probably will have vids already. :P) I don't even remember all the moves he did, but they were mad sexy and even better in person than on tape. Totally just wiped me out. Oh, and when his jacket came off, the crowd went nuts. It was legit insane. And oh, don't get me started on those arms...

So, basically he was amazing, as expected. The crowd adored him, and I screamed so much that I'm fairly certain I won't have a voice tomorrow (it's already starting to go, haha). There weren't a lot of people standing in my section for anyone, and most of them stood up for the start of Adam, but were sitting after WLL. I didn't care though, I stood up and danced like crazy. :P It seemed like the whole floor stood the whole time, my section just didn't stand much.

Okay, so parental opinions: Some background first. My Mom's favorite on the show was Kris, but I've rubbed off on her, because recently she likes Adam more. She's more into his mellow stuff like "Mad World," and she listens to the studio version of "Feeling Good" all the time, so I wasn't sure how she would feel about WLL and Bowie. She loved him though. She said he was her favorite and that the rest seemed like amateurs compared to him. And she took some awesome pictures for me! Yay! ::wub:: My Dad isn't an Adam fan at all really. He doesn't get the obsession (NOT because of the gay thing, let me make that much clear, just because he didn't like him that much on the show), and he just doesn't love his voice. When we got out, he seemed like he wasn't that impressed, but then as we were talking about the show, he said MW was his favorite song of the night out of everyone, and he really liked the Bowie, so I think he's just in denial about being an Adam fan. :P My Dad also seemed to think that the microbation was somewhat inappropriate because of all the little kids there, but that's pretty typical of my Dad. Also, I'm not sure if he was completely offended by the sexy dancing, or if he was just disturbed by his little girl's reaction to it. I was realllly screaming at that point. ::haha:: (Oh, the really random reason that I didn't want to sit next to my Dad is that when I was younger, he and I had really similar taste in movies, so we would go together, but if there was a gory scene or anything remotely "inappropriate," he would reach over and cover my eyes. So I was haunted by memories of that and didn't want his protective instincts to get in the way of my Adam enjoyment. Also, my Dad wouldn't have been able to take me screaming all the way through Adam's set. ::haha:: I was glad that there were old ladies who weren't going to be screaming on the other side of him from my Mom.)

So anyway, yeah, Adam almost gave me a heart attack he was so incredible, and I was literally shaking after his set. I just couldn't believe I'd actually gotten to see it It was a nice feeling. :D I'll prbably think of more to add later (because this isn't long enough already, haha, but I'm getting sleepy, so let's wrap up, shall we?)

Kris: I like Kris a lot. He was my second favorite all year, and I was happy for him when he won. But honestly, for me, he was just a letdown after Adam. I don't even remember his first two songs, because I was trying to calm myself down after Adam. ::haha:: This isn't Kris's fault at all, and I did enjoy his set (his music is actually much more my usual style than Adam's is. Almost everything I listen to besides Adam and a few others is very mellow and chill, much like Kris.) He got a good reception, and it didn't seem like people were leaving during his set, which is a good thing. I dug all of his songs, but he wasn't that memorable, and I didn't walk away feeling any different about him than I did before the show. (I think I might possibly love Adam even more than I did before, and I have improved opinions of many of the others. Kris, not so much.) I can take him or leave him, even though his music is my style, and I'm interested to see what kind of music he ends up making in the future, because I do think he could potentially be very successful, he just isn't a superstar or a performer the way that Adam is. My Mom loved "Hey Jude," which was no surprise, since she is to The Beatles as I am to Adam. She said Kris messed up the lyrics though, which I noticed as well. I think he sang the verses out of order (and maybe didn't sing them all? I'm not really sure.) Anyway, he was good, but not great, and I would have enjoyed him more if he wasn't directly after Adam, but there's not much to be done about that.

DSB: I love Idol cheesefests. Some cute Kradam moments. The dance was really cute tonight, they both kept starting and stopping. Then they were taking turns going down to one knee. Idk if they just couldn't synchronize, or if they were doing that on purpose. It was cute though.

Okay, that's it. Sorry this is so long, I had a lot to say. ::haha:: Thanks for sticking with me if you did, or reading the really long Adam section if that's all you read. It seriously took me over an hour to type all this, but I'm glad I did, because now I can save it and have a record of exactly what I was thinking tonight. I'm sure I'll remember more details and stuff tomorrow, I'll post again if I do.

Oh, and I didn't proofread this, so if there's anything totally incomprehensible, well, I apologize.

Urgh, it just yelled at me for using too many emoticons. Haha. Sooo lame...

Edit: Wowza, this is even longer than I thought it was. I just did a word count and it's 3,000 words. So I truly congratulate you if you manage to read the whole thing, haha. No wonder it took me so long to write...

Edit again: Haha, I wrote 23,000. It's actually 3,000. Which is not quite the same. Idk where that 2 came from. I must really need sleep. ::haha::

'clayaiken2003' date='Aug 17th 2009, 10:56 AM'

Went to the concert yesterday with my daughter. We got there around 3pm. Heard that we had
just missed Michael, Matt & Danny come out to meet people behind the XL Center just 45 min.
before we arrived.

Went inside to see all the people ready to go down to the meet n greet. They said it was the
same 3 guys and I saw their autographs. Told my daughter we should go next door to the Hilton
to see if Adam was around.

Crossed the street and saw two guys with passes hanging from their necks near an open van
like they were waiting for someone. We went into the hotel to grab a water and stood near the
door inside to see who they were waiting for.

After about 10 min. we went outside and the one guy shoved his pass down his shirt so we wouldn't
know who he was. So obvious. (good move, guy!) ::haha::

So needless to say, we stood near the road and only a car away from the open van. He sat on a
bench and waited. After a couple minutes I saw him dot right over to the van and saw two girls
run out of the hotel, one taking a picture. A column to the hotel was blocking my view as to who
they were seeing and all of a sudden, Adam was there near the van!!!!

He had his black hair all straight, and big black glasses on. "Sadly", I recognized the woman with
him from a papparazzi video I saw on Youtube (i think i need a life!). My daughter said she was
his "gift girl", the one who carries his gifts....

So he got in the middle seats of the van, while the girl got in the front. One guy yelled to him that
his wife was gonna be so jealous that he saw him and she didn't.

My daughter, who was texting and missed this, finally came over to me (I was paralyzed and had
too much respect for him to scream, etc) and she put her fingertips against her lips and gasped.
I know he saw us. He was smiling at the few of us and what the guy said to him.

Then we went in the lobby of the Center and waited to go in.

I won't detail anyone's performances but....

Michael was better than on the show, Megan is ok to me, Lil was better than on the show, Scott
was cute, Anoop was good and I didn't remember that Matt was in the first half of the show so
I was soooooooooooooo happy to see him (that surprised me!!!) I love him! He was good too.

Allison is always good. It was loud for her set and Danny did a really good job. I luv Danny.
Of course we were there mainly to see Adam.

I have lots of CLOSE UP vids (all of FAME) and wait til U see this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I die each time
I watch it! The boa was hilarious and sexy!!! Man I will never be the same.

We had sixth row. We never sweated so much in our lives. I also got a ton of pics!!!

When it's all up I will send links.

Adam stole the show as many reviews have said. How he didn't win blows me away still. But
he will go far. He makes the "mad world" around me disappear every time I see him, watch him
and listen to him. Out of everyone I've seen in my life, I could watch him and listen to him
every single day til I die!

I hate that I am not going to see more shows. I know his CD comes out in a few months and
I'll be waiting (for the tour too!!!).

He has to be the sexiest man on the earth.

Ok, Kris was cute and good. We smiled thru his set.

But Adam did steal the show and people screamed for him more than anyone and I've never
seen so many Adam fans, shirts, posters....They loved him!!!

After the show they had a meet n greet in the lobby and Kris, Matt, Michael, Anoop n Danny came
out. My daughter got their autographs and I took some pics.

I will be back with my vids and pics as soon as I have them on the puter!!!!

Adam rocks my world! ::wub::

I just lurk over here, but I was at the show last night and HOLY . Adam needs a solo tour rightttt now. There was one point during the show, I think it was during Starlight, my friend basically fell on her knees freaking out haha and he was just staring right at us singing and holyyyy crapppp. Hottest effing thing I've ever seen in my life. Oh we threw up handcuffs during Fame but he didn't see them :haha:

I have pictures on facebook, if you can't see them feel free to add me!

It was one of the most amazing nights of my life, i was in my seat for many of the other performers. And when it came to Adam I quickly got up and went to the side of the stage. OMGEEE.
ANd there were more Items thrown on stage, The Bra, Panties... and Someone threw blue boxers with like brown stuff on it I couldn't make out what they were maybe teddy bears. He threw the bra back in, I don't know what happened to the panties but he left the boxers on stage looked at them and smiled. He was just amazing, And I don't know about him being sick. I know he is really busy, and today he tweeted that hes up in NY recording a song. BUt yeah he sounded completely amazing, and it his notes amazingly and perfectly. He is just perfect. I love how glamorous he looks all the time, and during lets dance when he looks at you and tells you to dance is just amazing. He has the most enchanting eyes.
BUt yeah CT was all about Adam when they played the AI experience vid during the Intermission all the Idols talked and when adam was on the screen talking every started screaming Adam and just screaming period. When He came the screams were just out of this world, and higher than even Kris's to my knowledge. But yeah then when they were coming out in the Atrium People were screaming Adam and the handlers were saying he wasn't coming. ONly 5 Idols came out. All Guys.

'lrich637' date='Aug 17th 2009, 3:56 PM'

Yeah, the MFB is the band that plays with the Idols every night.

Another thing I forgot in my recap: It was the keyboardist's (Can't remember his name. Andy, maybe?) birthday last night, and several of the Idols mentioned it. Anoop had us all say Happy Birthday to him, and Matt def mentioned it as well. I think someone else said something about it too (maybe Kris? I was kind of dazed during his set..), but I don't really remember. I thought that was sweet of them.

Oh, and there were a few people in my section who had VIP passes around their necks. I wouldn't have noticed, but my Mom pointed them out to me, because she couldn't figure out what they were, haha. I didn't recognize any of the people though. One was a lady who was skinny with white hair (I didn't get a good look at her, but she was probably around 50, would be my guess), and then my Mom said she saw someone with a pass who looked a lot like Gokey, and got up from his seat and went somewhere during Adam's set, which explains how I missed him. :haha: I miss him though. Does Gokey have a brother? Someone said that yesterday would have been Sophia's birthday, so it would make sense if he had family there last night.

'mindchnger' date='Aug 18th 2009, 1:16 AM'

I'm sorry... I had to do this, it was completely teed up for me in the video.... ::haha::
