Adam Lambert is confirmed on 'official' track list of GRAMMY Nominees CD

Although we still haven't gotten definitive confirmation on the CD artwork, the official track list of the 2011 GRAMMY® Nominees CD has been finalized and Adam Lambert's 'Whataya Want From Me' is the eighth track.

The track list, provided by a source at Sony, also includes producers, musicians, composers/writers and mixers of each of the nominated songs.

Stay tuned for the 'official' released artwork. Although it's clear Adam Lambert will be on the CD art, there still may be some final tweaks to color, placement, graphics, etc. (perhaps tweaks so small we won't even notice) on the artwork that has circulated on the internet in the past two days.

Lambert and his rendition of P!nk's 'Whataya Want From Me' is nominated for the 2011 GRAMMY in the category of Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

While Carrie Underwood and Fantasia are the other two 'American Idol' alums that were nominated this year, they do not appear on the CD, which leans heavily toward pop.

Such an exciting time for Adam Lambert and his many fans! Best wishes from the American Idol Examiner on the upcoming GRAMMY award, and here's hoping he will be asked to perform during the Feb. 13 show.

CBS is running a Sweepstakes. You sign on to the network web site and make your Grammy picks in the major categories and it registers you to win $500.
I enter sweepstakes so I did it.
When you enter, it shows you the current % of votes each person has.
In Adam's category, Michael Jackson is far in the lead BUT Adam is 2nd and he's far ahead of everyone else.
It's basically a popularity contest and gauge of public opinion BUT the fact that it isn't being spammed by Adam fans AND he's managing to come in 2nd to Michael Jackson shows you how popular he really is with the general public.

Adam Lambert Included on Grammy Album
Last month, Season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert earned a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. It was announced today that Adam’s hit single “Whataya Want From Me” was included on the 17th edition of the Grammy Nominees album. The song is track #8 of 19. The CD will be available January 25th, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the album will benefit the MusiCares Foundation and the Grammy Foundation.

According to the website TheBoomBox, Adam Lambert will join Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Usher etc to perform at the upcoming Grammys Award show! Not sure how accurate the website is, but this is what they said:

"The new performers also join Katy Perry, Miranda Lambert, Arcade Fire and Adam Lambert on the performance slate. The ceremony will bebroadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 13 at 8PM on CBS".

Last night, on ALFC, Lane was in the chat room for a very, very short time.
She said that she did not foresee Adam performing at the Grammy's.
I think, unfortunately at this point, Imma have to accept the fact that he won't be. But at least we have the red carpet!

Sorry if I got anybody riled up! Didn't mean to for sure. I was just typing what was on my mind at the time!
Anyway, I came into the chat room minutes after Lane left. The other 6 or 8 people that were in there were talking briefly about what she mentioned.
Her visit was very short, apparently, because she had a phone call come in. I believe this was possibly her first time in the chat room.
That is all I know.
I came in during the conversation while it was VERY fresh -- meaning I don't think it had time to be skewed or blown out of proportion.
Things can always change anyway. Look at what happened with the Golden Globes.
sigh. don't know what to think. last night on twitter a swiss tweeter said the radio station was saying you could win tickets to see the performers live at the grammys that were on the poster...

i don't think we'll know for sure til the Grammys or Adam tweets, then we can be sure

I don't know whether or not it is meaningful, but I have just seen the first promo for watching the Grammy's here in Asia and Adam's name flashed on the screen. This is a promo for the Grammy TV show. If he is not going to be shown in any form, I don't know why they would use his name. ????? They did not show more than about 20 artists to be watching for (actually not even 20 but it was a quick promo)

With the countdown to music's biggest night officially kicked off by Lady Gaga, 53rd Annual Grammy Award presenters have begun to be announced.

Organizers confirmed the first round of presenters early Wednesday with Selena Gomez, Nicki Minaj and Blake Shelton leading the pack.

As widely reported, this year's Grammy Awards will feature a mega line up of performances including recently announced additions Rihanna, Drake, Cee-lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Norah Jones, LL Cool J (Todd Smith), and Dierks Bentley round out this year's first round of presenters, also confirmed Wednesday.

In related news, Lady Gaga has begun the countdown to not only the Grammy Awards but the premiere of her anticipated single "Born This Way" which will premiere Grammy night.

"So many nights I've wept, too many thoughts to say. But now its less than 12 days left, till I was Born This Way," wrote Lady Gaga earlier this week. "X Mother Monster."

The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be presented Sunday, February 13 (CBS). Additional presenters are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
