Remember when we flipped our ish over Adam Lambert earning the We Are Family Foundation's Unity Award?! Well, it's pretty much a given that we'll flip over ANYTHING Adam does (see: this and this), but seeing the most GLAMOROUS HUMAN BEING EVER holding his trophy reminds us of why Adam is absolutely the winner of life (and why all the haters should just quit trying to keep up). Also, Adam's smize totally says: "THIS is how you rock guyliner at a black tie gala like a boss. BAM! *Drops mic, walks away*"

The "Let's Dance" singer shared his proud moment on Instagram along with the caption, "U-N-I-T-Y," which he obvs did just to remind us that he also happens to be a pristine speller. So, to clarify, Adam's 31st year in life has not only included a GIF shrine created by your fellow Glamberts here at Buzzworthy, but it's also gotten him a super shiny award that will no doubt look amazing on any mantle it touches. What would make this year EVEN BETTER? How about some new tunes, Adam? We're wearing our Trespassing MP3s out as we strut the streets like they're a fashion runway (true story)! Wait, can you really wear out MP3s?

Get this: Zero male American Idol contestants have a Grammy to their name. Nope, not even Kevin Covais. Adam Lambert earned a nomination for "Whataya Want From Me?" last year (and lost to Bruno Mars in the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance category), but if anyone deserves multiple Grammys from the past five seasons of Idol, it's Lambert. Surely his latest album Trespassing is his best work to date, and if you can't even earn a Grammy nomination for notching a #1 album as a self-defined gay artist with a distinct pop sound and an otherworldly voice, maybe it's time for Grammy voters to revise their rubric.

'Trespassing' sensation Adam Lambert has taken to his official Twitter page to congratulate two fellow pop superstars on their new music.

Writing on the social networking site earlier today (February 7), he lauded both Ke$ha and P!nk for different releases and described them as "inspiring".

Referring to Ke$ha's 'Deconstructed EP', which was released digitally earlier this month and includes stripped back renditions of her hits 'Blow' and 'Die Young', Lambert said: "@keshasuxx new Deconstructed EP is so beautiful!! What a treat to hear her voice raw and emotional. Lovely singing. :)"

He also praised P!nk's newly shared music video for 'Just Give Me A Reason', which features vocals from fun. frontman Nate Ruess, and added: "New @Pink video is really great. So genuine! Love that record too- "Just Give Me A Reason". SO inspiring."

All judgments about Adam Lambert's personal style and behavior aside ;) , can you honestly say that he doesn't have remarkable singing abilities? The Grammy-nominated singer's voice is technically proficient and nearly flawless in execution. :thumbs: :w00twave:

After all, there is a reason Brian May and Roger Taylor invited him to stand in as Queen's lead vocalist at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards and in more than one of their sold-out tour dates. If he's good enough for Queen, he definitely belongs on this list!

It’s been a stellar few months for gay and gay-friendly musicians. Last spring, Adam Lambert became the first openly gay artist to debut at number one on the Billboard album chart, and this very week, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis debut on the Hot 100 with “Same Love,” their rap ode to same-sex marriage.

And on Sunday night, Frank Ocean could become the first openly queer person to win Record of the Year or Album of the Year and the first openly queer solo artist to win Best New Artist.
Meanwhile, George Michael won Album of the Year in 1989, but he was closeted at the time, and as far as I know, no gay person (closeted or not) has ever won Record of the Year. If Ocean wins either, then he’ll be out from the get-go. It would be nice to see one of the industry’s biggest awards go to someone who has never had to hide.

Adam Lambert charity birthday donations raise $82,000

Adam Lambert fans have donated a total $82,000 to charity as part of a fundraising drive in honour of the singer's birthday.

The vocal powerhouse recently celebrated his 31st birthday and he teamed up with the We Are Family Foundation to 'donate' his birthday to the cause.

Fans were encouraged to give money to the foundation in order to get their message included on a massive 'birthday card' for the star.

The charity has now confirmed that over $82,000 was raised as part of the initiative. A statement from the foundation reads:

"Wow...! On behalf of the entire We Are Family Foundation "family", we cannot thank Adam Lambert and his fans enough for their unbelievable support of WAFF! In just over a week, Adam and the fans rallied to raise more than $82,000 in celebration of Adam's birthday and receiving the Unity Award at the We Are Family Foundation Celebration Gala 2.0 on January 31, 2013 in New York. We are honored to welcome everyone into our global family! The money raised will help continue our programs supporting Global Teen Leaders' work around the world! Now, we didn't break the world-record, but that's ok, there's always next year! THANK YOU!"

Snub: Adam Lambert - No, "Trespassing" was not the commercial success Glamberts hoped it would be, but the "American Idol" runner-up's second studio set garnered him almost universally strong reviews and expanded his international following. However, in a year when pop roared back into vogue, there was simply too much competition, even for someone as fierce as Lambert.

Looking very casual, sitting on the edge of a small stage donning a baseball cap, Adam sings the track along with the familiar stripped back piano accompaniment.

Adam gave fans a running commentary on the Grammy Awards last night, being very complimentary about the ladies there.
