Thanks so much everyone for bringing over all the pics and videos.
This was one of the you-will-remember-no-matter-how-old-you-are concerts. The irony was that when we arrived in Cologne the wheather was fantastic. I had a day off and my friend and I drove earlier (I am living in a city near Cologne) and we sat in the sun and enjoyed icecream, we went to a little Italian trattoria to eat something and when we collected our things to go to the stadium we already saw the first black clouds. When we arrived it started pouring.
In Cologne all seats are protected by the roof - standing area not. People were fleeing and getting into the dry areas at the gates. At that moment everybody hoped that it was just a short shower of rain......
But the moment the concert started the rain was forgotten - audience and band were bonding immediately and we all had so much fun, singing, dancing and screaming.
You have all seen Adam and his red umbrella and he was even cursing in German - "Scheiße" and his "did I make you wet" became a completely new meaning.
From what I heard around me and when we left the stadium after the show diehart Queenies but also casual fans were impressed with Adam, his voice, showmanship and being a cute dork.
I am really happy being a part of this special show!

Do we know if the show was sold out? It looked really full, but it's always hard to tell by just looking at a pic.
I remember the weather in Germany from when I was just a kid. Playing with my friends, hot and humid, and the next thing the sky would get dark and the thunder and lightening. We used to get horrid thunder storms.
To this day, I hatesssss thunder storms....they make me want to crawl under the bed
Good thing California doesn't get too many of those, yay!!

If there ever was a show which deserved to be sold out it was this one, but it wasn't. Around 25.000 tickets were sold, empty seats in the background of the stadium. But that did not have any influence on the fantastic time everyone had, including the band.
Must be a bit different for california boy Adam although he had a similiar experience some years ago in Canada.

I'm sorry that the weather was bad but wow what great pictures that red umbrella has given us. He couldn't have picked a better umbrella.
