Adam Lambert at 'Live in the Vineyard'
Rating:5 Stars Headliner Adam Lambert brought the house down at last night’s exclusive Live in the Vineyard event. His jam packed eleven song set wowed a packed theater, bringing everyone to their feet
. As this is typically an acoustic event, Adam played stripped down versions of hits from all three of his albums, including “Whattaya Want From Me,” “Trespassing,” “Ghost Town,” and his latest single “Another Lonely Light.”
Adam was in a fantastic mood, bantering with the crowd. It could be from dipping into the famous Napa wine, or because as he noted, he had family in the audience. Whatever the reason, his performance was flawless.
In fact, the energy from the crowd was so enthusiastic and loud that he kept motioning to sound tech to turn up his mic and the instruments!
Live in the Vineyard Directors Claire Parr and Bobbii Hach-Jacobs announced at the show that SiriusXM was recording and would be airing it on New Year’s. But if you can’t wait, check out a preview of Adam Lambert’s unplugged version of “The Light” off his latest album “The Original High” above. You can also view the photos from his performance above in the slideshow.
Always on the go, Adam is off to China today to perform at the 11.11 Gala in Beijing this week. Then he will be back in the states at the end of the month for various radio promoted Christmas shows across the country. Adam will kick off the New Year with a concert in Singapore and then begin his The Original High World Tour throughout Japan, New Zealand, Australia and Europe. There is no word yet if he will bring the tour to the United States.
