Lucy and The Light are amazing live! In fact, Lucy was born for live performance, and stadiums, in particular! And to think it was my actually my least favourite track on TOH.

With Adam in spectacular vocal form, Lucy gives such an adrenaline rush that it left me panting What an energy booster this song is!!!

As for The Light, the communal nature of the song and the audience participation it creates is just a joy to behold. Fantastic stuff!!!!!

Great guitar solo too on Lucy. Wow!!!!!

I am just so, so, so happy with THE LIGHT!

I don't think it is all that complicated a song, and it isn't the best for showcasing his voice IMHO, but there is something so compelling about the lyrics. I find them as revelatory for him, actually.

And I agree Derek, that it is a wonderful audience participation song. Very effective!
