"The two-hour "Greatest Hits" finale will also feature Adam Lambert, Sheryl Crow, Cyndi Lauper, and Nelly.
Earlier Monday, news broke that Ariana Grande and Celine Dion would be performing on the live finale of ABC’s “Greatest Hits.”
ABC subsequently confirmed several other performers for the episode.
Per an official press release, the two-hour broadcast will also include performances by Sheryl Crow, Adam Lambert, Cyndi Lauper, and Nelly. Additional performers will be confirmed at a later date.
Celebrating the music of the 1980 and 2005, the live “Greatest Hits” finale will air on Thursday, August 4."

I watched the first episode and wasn't that impressed, which as a music fan was disappointing. Haven't watched it since. Guess I'll be watching the final episode though.

I've watched the first 3 episodes. It's quality was very uneven. Episode one (1980~1985) was good, those original singers really could sing live & sang well. Episode 2 (1995~2000) was meh to me. Episode 3 (1985~1990) was fine; the original singers (Bret Michaels from Poison, Chicago, Foreigner.), thought not having as good voices as they're young, still could deliver good performances.
The singers (from the first 3 ep) who came on to cover those hit songs, some did good, some not so much. Episode 4 is on July 21 (1990~1995); episode 5 is covering 2000~2005. It seems only the final episode is live show. Can't wait for that one. A lot of good singers on episode 6.

P.S. Would love a Bowie tribute. But I'd love whatever Adam's singing.

I hope he does something we've never heard before. No Queen, no Bowie... I want a cover of something new.
The show has had newer artists perform a hit with the original artist. Meghan Trainor performed with the Backstreet Boys. So, it's possible he could perform with one of the artists who are singing one of their songs. Maybe Cyndi.
