I reluctantly did my grocery shopping for brunch tomorrow... $500 later, all who show up shall be fed!!!!

I hate grocery shopping with a passion... I thought it would be crazy in the store but it really wasn't bad... God bless the NFL!!!!!

::hysterical::

For those who don't know about the Jewish New Year, it's basically all about two dinners and two brunches... Way more 'extended family' time than I need!!!!!

Tonight was the first dinner and I got out of that one! ::winking::

I'm working on 'skipping' the second brunch on Tuesday! I was born to be a cave woman!!!!!

Oh Lordy, I hear you, Marie....I'm already dreading Christmas time. As much as I love my parents and my sister, etc.....all day with everybody is just too much. Hubby and I prefer to be alone, we're true loners, and after spending all of Christmas day with 10 people, we are EXHAUSTED for the next week.

And I love my mother dearly, but she does not like any kind of silence, so if I try to sneak off with my Kindle for 10 minutes alone, she hunts me down ::haha::

But I know I need to treasure this time that I still have with my family, and be grateful that I have the opportunity to get annoyed with them ::hysterical:: ::hysterical::

I hear you!!!! I love them all, but beyond my kids and grandkids, a minimal amount of exposure will suffice!

A sweet New Year to all (and we all deserve good wishes whether we celebrate this holiday or have other traditions).

So I wanted to share my current obsession (besides Adam) with you guys...

Conchita, drag artist extraordinaire from Austria, winner of the 2014 Eurovision contest and affectionately knows as the bearded lady. I've been watching her interviews, and even bought her album, Conchita, and it's really good. I'm really enjoying it. I've got it on repeat at the moment.

I love her interviews, she reminds quite a bit of Adam in her views..she's also really flirty and funny.

I do hate, though, that she's a way more feminine than I've ever been or ever will be ::icant:: She's really gorgeous and I must admit I have a bit of a crush ::wub::

Baby sat all day today, although there was very little sitting involved. At 8 1/2 months, that little girl is on the move. Crawling, kneeling, trying to pull up on furniture, chasing the dogs - I'm exhausted.

Nearly forgot in the tired - my daughter was the one to go back to work, and her husband is taking care of the baby, while trying to freelance. I found out that he sends her a picture of the baby everyday around lunchtime, and I had to do the same today.

I can hardly wait to have my own baby in February. ::grin::
