Basically, a song is premiered on radio stations all over the world and released on iTunes everywhere but in the UK. In the UK, only the pre-order goes up, so people can pre-order. The song becomes available 6 to 8 weeks after the radio premiere.

The UK Glamberts will just have to pre-order and then illegally download the song so they can enjoy it until the release.  The good news for them is that the album might come out a week after the single in the UK.
