'Trespassing' superstar Adam Lambert wowed fans earlier tonight (March 5) at his concert in Hong Kong with a stunning rendition of a Tears For Fears classic.
He performed at the Star Hall and treated gig-goers to an attitude-driven cover of 'Shout'. Dressed in an open waistcoat and black tanktop, the hitmaker belted his way through the track and added a sense of theatricality to it with his ever impressive vocal range and ability.
A guitar solo from Tommy Joe Ratliff broke up the song and added a slightly harder edge compared to the original version, which was more of a synth-rock offering.
Meanwhile, Lambert's next concert will take place in Singapore at the The Star Theater on March 8 before he heads to Indonesia for a show on March 10. He has also been performing a cover of Rihanna's 'Stay' on his current tour of Asia.

Adam was certainly in great voice for this Hong Kong concert! The beauty of his middle register on Whataya Want From Me...wow!
What a surprise it was to hear Time for Miracles. I've never been all that keen on the song (though Adam sings the hell out of it), but hearing it in a lower key---again showing off that fantastic middle register of his---made me enjoy it more than I've ever done before. It'll be very interesting to see if Adam sings it in Singapore. If he does, I predict he'll let loose on it now that he's performed it once :)
I loved Shout (especially on this video, which had none of the distortion on Adam's singing that marred one of the other vids), and I think it'll be a smart choice for the big venue concerts that are coming up in Eastern Europe. Or maybe we'll get a Queen number at those concerts instead?! (Come to think of it, half the audience in Kiev will probably be holding out for Who Wants to Live Forever!)

LAMBERT TREATS ASIAN FANS
Adam Lambert treated his fans in Hong Kong last night by performing a couple of new tracks on his ‘We Are Glamily’ tour.
One of the covers was the 80′s classic “Shout” by Tears for Fears, it has the rallying chorus ‘shout, shout, let it all out, these are thing I could do without.’ When released in the UK it reached number 4 in the singles chart. The band also wrote ‘Mad World’ which Adam performed whilst on American Idol.
He also performed his 2009 song ”Time For Miracles” which featured in the movie ’2012′. The song was played over the end credits and the official video features clips of disasters taken from the movie.
had to post these two vids just for the hysterical cries from a woman whose ovaries are in overdrive!! ....not sure if she made it thru the whole concert........ :haha:

Last Tuesday, Kitec's Star Hall was packed with eyeliner-wearing, placard-holding fans.
Backstage, having a pre-show chat with Young Post and two Junior Reporters, sits smoky-eyed Adam Lambert - the star of the night.
This is the second time the former runner-up of American Idol has performed in Hong Kong, having previously visited in 2010.
"I love [Hong Kong fans] so much," he says. "You guys are so sweet, and I'm excited to see everybody sing along and dance."
