Chicago was of course, very emotional because it was first, but this show was the best. Amazing, amazing acoustics! Adam was so obviously happy and I was sure more relaxed than in L.A. Because it was more clearly going perfectly.
I could've done without the Queen people around me singing off-key, but hey, we want them to be enjoying themselves too :wub: <3 :flowers:

Hello from Las Vegas. I have to apologize for not tweeting last night. Too busy chatting before the show and too enthralled to keep my eyes off of Adam during the show. <3 :wub:
The quality of both Adam's singing and Brian's guitar skills were breathtaking. The acoustics were perfect. Adams vocal talents were absolutely on fire last night and his antics were just enough to keep us engaged and having fun. There was an obvious division between Adam fans and Queen fans but overall Adam was able to bring all of us to our feet on several songs.
I wasn't close enough to get decent pictures with my cell phone so I took videos. Since they are so jerky I am not sure how great they will be. I will have to see what I can do with them when I get home. I'm happy to see that others in better seats supplied you with plenty of great pictures and videos.
I'll be at the next show bot at the back of the top balcony so we'll see how that goes. :)

I was thinking earlier how Adam seems to throw his all into every performance. I don't recall that we've ever seen a performance where he seems to be phoning it in, at least not that I can remember.
If he has, it's very, very rare.
He is an astonishing performer for sure. The amount of stamina it takes to sing the way he sings, plus the dancing around that he does is incredible.
He never ceases to amaze me, never :wub:

Taking a break from the black jack tables....
Here are my notes from last night (my first show!):
- As awesome as our videographers are, nothing depicts what it's like live... The energy in the room... The walls vibrating when Adam hits certain notes... The disco ball lights glimmering over the crowd...
- When CLTCL starts the side screens appear to be old TV sets in black and white (very Ed Sullivan Show like)... it gave an Elvis vibe to the song.... AWESOME!!!
- I was busy fiddling with the friggin' stream during Killer Queen and looked up just in time to see Adam's legs in the air and Dr. Bri getting up... I couldn't figure out what Adam had done to poor Dr. Bri! I could have kicked myself for playing around with the damned stream! GRRRRR!!!!
- There were two Queen fans seated behind me... One Very Burly Guy (VBG) - bald head, thick beard and a Lesser Burly Guy (LBG)... VBG had seen the show in L.A., LBG had not...
LBG: Adam Lambert? Isn't he the one who lost on American Idol?
VBG: Yea, so? Do your remember the one who won? Kris something? What is HE doing now? I don't have anything against the guy, but not in this league!
LBG: Well, Lambert is still an Idol guy! Dunno how much he can do with Queen...
VBG: Yea? Well, just wait until he hits the stage. You'll get the biggest f*cking hard on you ever got!!!!

- The big screen in the middle gave us some priceless images of Adam's 'insider' impressions. When he would say something and roll his own eyes at himself, giving us the camp looks, etc.... Priceless! Unless you're in the front row, you would be missing those gems!!!!
- Radio Gaga clapping has improved immensely!!! Still needs work though! ;)
- On the main floor, there wasn't a butt in a chair! Everyone stood up ALL concert long! In the balcony, people were perhaps more reserved but standing ovations abounded after almost every song!
- Whenever Adam left the stage, there was a noticeable 'relaxation' of the enthusiasm in the crowd, which got renewed with YAYssss and applauds when the crowd could see him returning!
- The new 'boy' has become the new 'guy', as per Dr. Bri.... Answer to his question "What do you think about the new guy?" was deafening applauds and catcalls! :)
- Seated in the front row balcony, above the stage, gives a superb view of the light/lazer show. I realize that this was a 'mini' version of the stadiums... Truly stunning work!!!! And in real life, you don't 'lose' the people on stage as you do in streams and some videos.
- This was a very intimate venue... as Adam came forward to the end of the stage to share an aside that he was on stage with Queen... Gotta love him! I am looking forward to the Montreal show where I'll get the full power of the thrust (not just Adam's but the set!), the big O, the catwalk.
- Adam truly has grown! He no longer is the little kid looking to Dr. Bri for guidance during the show... He is LEADING Dr. Bri et al... He truly is the FRONTMAN!
I honestly hope that tonight's stream will go easier than last night's! I know how much it means to all of us who can't be there to see/hear it live although we all know that we will be getting awesome videos within minutes of the show ending! The sense of 'togetherness' during a stream is an experience like no others!
