Just had the nicest conversation with Adam. We left to go to the restroom when he finished singing. (Too much vodka). He, of course, was at the bar Joy is braver than I. So I told him that it was nice to see him again, and that this organization is in my wheelhouse. He said "good! Thank you for coming! This organization is in my wheelhouse too!" I said "it's nice to see you again". He said "it's nice to see you again too". ( he doesn't know me from Adam ). Very sweet man.

Ya know, he really was. I have seen him 24 times now, and I was really struck by many things about him tonight. He has the smoky Kohl eyeliner on, and it looks terrific up close. (I was less than a foot from him talking to him). His skin looks great. The nose stud is tiny and very becoming. He seems very happy. The suit fits beautifully. He has a lot of brown in his hair. In many ways, the best I've seen him.

Thank you, Sandy. I've never seen him live so I always wonder if he's as beautiful in person as he is in the pics.

I always remember his Mom saying, in a very early article or interview, that Adam would enter a room and it would light up, or something to that effect, and he does seem to have a certain aura about him in all the pictures I've seen of him. I was just wondering if that translates into the live version of Adam.

On a very shallow note, he sure fills out those suits beautifully. That boy's been shopping for serious, grownup clothes. I've noticed he hasn't been wearing his signature leather gloves in a while.

There is definitely a different vibe about him these days.

When Adam is in a room, you're sucked into his aura. I remember the first time I saw him live during the AI tour... when he went down that trap door, I just plunked down on my seat... I had nothing left... It's like he took all the air out of the room with him.

I was also at iHeart in Vegas and never noticed the plumes of smoke until I watched the videos. All I saw was Adam!!!!

Forget the indifferent-looking/acting people in the foreground here; this is a terrific performance---one of Adam's best versions of the song in my opinion. Love the riffs; love the power and tenderness he brings to this rendition.

Just the sweetest night! My BFF, whom I have known since we were pregnant with twins 32 years ago, joined me for this one . We decided to stay in a hotel near the show, since we knew we would be drinking and we are both professionals and didn't want to risk our licenses drinking and driving Good move, We decided to hobble up the hill to the Globe Theater in our very high heels, Silly, really. Luckily, we were met up by a shuttle bus that took us up the hill we walked though City walk, a large shopping area and finally found the Globe theater,, They had an outdoor reception with drinks and apps. My heels were not driving me crazy yet since we padded my toe very well after stubbing it badly in my bath the day before.

We showed up at the outdoor reception and Joy immediately scouted out a table near the red carpet and the entrance. It was cold out there, so luckily, we brought coats. Many many celebs. Peter Paige stood right by me, but I did not recognize him at all, since he was close to bald and had gained weight.

Joy knew some colleagues there, so we were engrossed in a conversation and I missed Adam walk in. Saw him as soon as he hit the red carpet. Leila took a couple of pics with him, then came back to the side, where I was, standing alone. That's when I spoke with her. It was actually refreshing to be at a place where he wasn't the main event, because he was more accessible, even by accident.

The banquet itself was 2 solid hours and we were seated at a doctor table, unfortunately, so not as much fun as I'd hoped. None of them knew Adam, so it was fun to see how pleasantly surprised they were by his stellar voice. Amber Riley also sounded wonderful, and of course, Melissa Etheridge did too. Darren Chris, not so much, but he was friendly and personable and raised lots of money.

After the show, we moved outside for dessert, but I didn't see Adam there.

Then, off came the shoes since I suddenly realized that my foot was killing me. Walked down the hill in nylons and didn't even get a run.

Then night caps at the hotel. I fell asleep in the middle of writing this so I just woke up to finish it.

Adam fits in so respectfully when he's not the center of attention. In some ways, I think he likes it better. Such a respectful man.
