Love this fan video with the crowd!!!!

To me, this is the BEST version so far. Terra used her edited audio and mashed it with HD video (720). She will be posting a 1080 version later.

Was this posted? Such a great article...

Top 10 Facts About Adam Lambert (AKA The Adam Lambert Incident)
By Mark Gilroy

Picture the scene – a cold Tuesday night in York, nothing on TV. I was channel flicking and stumbled across the closing performance of the MTV EMAs. Queen were performing with a singer who I’d never heard of before – Adam Lambert.

Every once in a while, an artist comes along with a voice that makes you stop in your tracks. It was only after the after the performance had finished that I realised I’d actually stopped what I was doing to give this guy my full attention.
I went to my favourite source of information to find out more:
Mark Gilroy@markgilroymusic
Mark Gilroy
Who's this Adam Lambert chap then? Just knocked the socks off 'We Are The Champions'! #mtvemas

I was completely unprepared for what happened next.

Within 48 hours I’d received 516 messages, been retweeted 349 times (reaching a total audience of over 303,000 people), and picked-up 218 incredible new followers.

Since asking that question, I’ve spent a great deal of time this week listening to Adam Lambert tracks and watching YouTube videos of live performances. I’ve also been sent some wonderful messages from Adam’s twitter fans – the ‘Glamberts’ or ‘Glamily’ as they like to be known. I thought a great way to find out more would be to look at some great facts about Adam, so I tweeted another question:
Mark Gilroy@markgilroymusic
Mark Gilroy
My question to all those Glamberts out there is … what is your FAVOURITE FACT about Adam Lambert?

After many, many messages from the Glamily, here are my Top 10 facts about Adam Lambert:

In 2011, beat competition from Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber & Snoop Dogg, to win the MTV O Award for ‘Must Follow Artist on Twitter’.
Adam is an opera-trained liggerio-tenor who can hold a note for 22 seconds.
His ‘porn nam’ is Maggie Longfellow.
Although Adam was runner-up in Season 8 of American Idol, he has gone on to earn more than many of the winners, before or since. He made Forbes list for being the the 2nd highest earning American Idol (tied with Daughtry) at $6 million.
He is naturally a redhead.
For his 29th birthday he asked fans to donate to Charity:Water, saying he would like to raise $29K. That was raised in a matter of hours. In total $323K was raised. Adam’s fans have donated more than $1 million, in his name, to such charities as The Trevor Project, Charity:Water and Donors Choose.
Adam is the first talent show contestant to be asked to sing the theme to a major film before even releasing any of his own material. In July 2009, he recorded ‘Time for Miracles’ for the film ’2012′ that was released in November 2009, two weeks before his album.
The only US Idol contestant to tour worldwide after releasing his first album.
During Season 8 of American Idol, Adam Lambert performed ‘Mad World’ and received a rare standing ovation from Simon Cowell. Earlier in the competition, his version of ‘Tracks of my Tears’ received a standing ovation from Smokey Robinson.
Counts Meat Loaf among his celebrity fans: Meat Loaf recently said in an interview: “Adam Lambert is the only singer that I’ve ever thought was amazing. I think there have been great singers, you know, Freddie Mercury, Steven Tyler, you know, a lot of great rock singers. Michael Jackson was one, but Adam Lambert is one I haven’t been awestruck with since [Janis] Joplin in the ’60s. I don’t think anybody actually comprehends how good this guy is. I mean, I downloaded everything he did for “American Idol.” I’m like this Adam Lambert groupie.”

My apologies if I forgot any really important ones – feel free to add more of your favourite facts in the comments box!

Signing off now – after a crazy week, in which I’ve picked-up a ton of new twitter pals, discovered a new artist…and become a Glambert. :w00twave:

Adam Lambert Dominates MTV’s Top Music Videos Online
November 14, 2011 04:01 PM EST

A quick perusal of MTV.com shows that Adam Lambert is currently dominating their top "Pop & Rock" music videos. Although sometimes fluctuating, the video of Adam's performance with Queen at the MTV 2011 European Music Awards has been number one for all categories on the site, including "most viewed," "most commented," "most shared" and "highest rated" in the last 24 hours. In addition, Adam has had the top 10 highest rated videos in the past 24 hours.

Obviously, Adam's performance with Queen gave him a great deal of exposure around the world. His name was not even mentioned as lead singer when Queen was announced on the show, yet most people now seem to know that it was him that sang with the band. This is probably due to many news articles written about it, as well as tweets from Queen and mention on their own website. For those that missed the performance, or even people who have not seen it yet, the video of Adam singing with Queen can be seen in the 2011 EMA show highlights section of MTV's website.

Once you see Adam perform one time, you have to see more! Therefore, it is most likely a result of people going to the MTV website to see the Queen performance that his other videos are now ranking so high. If you haven't seen Adam's VH1 Unplugged performances, you should definitely take a look to see his raw vocal talent. But really, all of these top rated videos are worth watching, so be sure to put a significant amount of time aside when you go to watch Adam on MTV.com!

I found this review at DDD that was brought in from Adamtopia (I think by that Adam fan that some people are claiming is over-the-top and embarrassing, but IMO she's no Juneau or the the lawyer who writes for the Examiner, I forget her name). Sorry I didn't ask for her permission but the site and name is there, and this is too good to let it sit in one site IMO.

ATop Review
11.7.11 by Cassie

"But it's been no bed of roses. No pleasure cruise. I consider it a challenge before the whole human race, and I ain't gonna lose! We are the champions."

Adam Lambert burst onto the national stage in the 2009 season of Idol. An example of how talent can be discovered, molded, and created by the program, and then, go on to a successful recording career. ...... NOT!

Adam's whole life, since the age of ten, has been focused on being a performer and artist. He studied his craft for years, he pounded the pavement, he knocked on hundreds of doors which were mostly slammed in his face. He was undaunted. He continued to build his voice, build his performance skills, build his knowledge of music of all kinds. He had the talent, he had the training, he had the experience, he had the vision, he had the determination and perseverence.

At the EMA awards show on November 6th, Adam dug down deep and called on everything in his impressive arsenal and gave us a quintessential performance. This is not an emerging artist. This is not an effemeral pop singer here today and gone tomorrow. What we witnessed, what we heard, what we saw, was Adam claiming his place as a world class performer with confidence, skill and power.

The vocals were amaaaazing. He used all his technique, all his knowledge of his body, and produced a sound that was strongly influenced by his classical training and background. It was much more than singing the right pitches, hitting the right notes. The sound evoked the power and finesse of an opera tenor, while modifying it to fit the classic rock numbers. His articulation was crystal clear. His attack, his subtle bending of notes and phrases gave the performance the emotions inherent in the songs.

He claimed the stage with his posture, his presence, his prowling. At the same time, his performance was in service to the tribute to Queen, never elevating himself above the song or the members of the band. He started his ethereal vocals in shadow, as if saying, "Who I am is not important. What I am singing, what we are creating, what we are paying homage to is key."

He threw the focus repeatedly to Brian May, encouraging him, acknowledging him, egging him on, enticing him onto the catwalk with him, leading him out front to his fans. He at once threw himself into the performance with total abandon and fearlessness, subsuming who he was into the greater total of what was being created. Yet, by doing that, and by doing it so masterfully, he was also being quintessentially himself. I do believe that only Adam Lambert could have accomplished that performance that night.

Adam has arrived. Adam has claimed his power and his place. It is magnificent to see and hear.

Rolling Stone
100 Greatest Guitarists......
#26 Brian May

Probably the only guitarist to get a degree in astrophysics, Queen's lead guitarist (and frequent songwriter) is a brainy adventurer who's always seeking new effects. An early goal of his was "to be the first to put proper three-part [guitar] harmonies onto a record" – like the orchestrated squeals of his solo in "Killer Queen." Brian May layered dozens of guitar parts onto individual tracks, building palatial walls of sound. Appropriately, even his instrument sprang from his imagination: His main guitar, the Red Special, a.k.a. the Old Lady, is a homemade wonder, constructed by May and his father in the early Sixties out of components including wood from a fireplace (he has been known to play it with a sixpence coin rather than a pick). It's yielded everything from the pirouetting, trebly solo in "Bohemian Rhapsody" to the proto-metal riffing of "Stone Cold Crazy." "I can listen to any player and pantomime their sound," Steve Vai said, "but I can't do Brian May. He's just walking on higher ground." ::thumbup::
Key Tracks: "Keep Yourself Alive," "Brighton Rock"
