Jay was talking about Idol contestants being plucked from obscurity. He kept saying plucked, which eventually got Adam giggling. And then the sexual innuendo started. Jay went with it.

Yes, show was great. I am watching the east coast feed before I head out again. Luckily, there was only one other guests beside Jeff on tape so we had more Adam. Jay did not interview Tommy. He did go over and shake all the band's members hands after they performed and he talked to Tommy but nothing that we could hear. So maybe that is what the person tweeted meant. We did stand up the whole time Adam was on, we were the only ones who did unless some did on the right hand side which we could not see that side on the audience. A few fans waited to see the band members leave. I saw Lisa going to her car but we did not make it over in time to talk to her. We did not have VIP access today, so we did n't hang around. Hopefully , he other girls got to see the others or Adam.

Observations so far:

Jay FLOVES Adam ... it's sooooooooo obvious!!

Adam's hair is GORGEOUS ... BEST EVER! LOVE IT TO DEATH!!

Adam's makeup is MAGNIFICENT ... BEST. EVER. He just looks soooooooo gorgeous! How does he get more gorgeous every time I see him? How? How? How?

Loved the interview ... very open, honest, real, warm, between Adam and Jay ... a great mutual admiration society fer shure.

Loved Jay's comment about the networks 'pretending ' to be mortified/shocked over something they damn well knew was going to happen, but I admire Adam's honesty that he did pull some stuff not in rehearsals .... Adam is class all the way!!

He sounded great. Mix was a little weird, too much guitar. Set was gorgeous. I feel like this song is a little somber, Adam just shot a music video and he looks like he wants to have some FUN. :)

Another "win" for BB!
Jay was awesome....asked great questions, had a wonderful, funny "conversation" with Adam & you could tell Jay loved him.
Jay talking to him about his brother, mom and dad was awesome...that's the kind of stuff "non-fans" need to hear...humanizes Adam
Adam was relaxed, funny and charismatic & he looked stunning. He never stutters or stumbles in interviews...he always speaks so well, has great comebacks and is just genuinely funny & likeable.
I thought the song sounded beautiful.
The audience was cheering for him as well....interrupted him several times with applause when he was being interviewed and clapped alot during and after the performance.

Well I just got home, Lori, Ali and I took a detour. I assume you have all the details already so I probably can't add much. I had a great time and Adam was fabulous as usual. I did notice, and you probably talked about it already, I haven't read through the thread yet, but they edited the interview and cut some out. Wasn't much, did you guys already discuss that.
I was disappointed the camera didn't capture the Adommy moment better. It was so adorable.
Maybe Lori will want to give a better review.

Lost the second half of the interview at my office when the feed went down, so appreciate the links.

I thought Jay's questions were so gentle and personal in a good way...never heard Adam asked about his brother; they were like old friends and you can see the relaxation in Adam's body language from the edge of his seat to total comfort at the end.

And the question from Jay re the make up line..."Why not... I'd buy it. I think I'd look good in eyeliner" was such a lead in. Wish they could have talked longer.

I didn't know Leno had a brother and that was another humanizing comment. And dear, sweet Mombert is a great foil for Adam's OTT. Although I thought he looked perfect for this show. The SYTYCD was a "PERFORMANCE" and this was a "performance". More like Conan and View.

Someone may have commented on the squeals from the audience when Adam and Tommy went for their moment. Could that have been our Skanks?

So we got tickets for the Jay Leno and got to see Adam

I have to tell you the live atmosphere was pretty amazing, nothing like on TV. Jay looks WAY better on real life and has a lot more charisma (I never liked him until today). Camera really adds a few pounds among other things. Adam sounded great live as well but I think that translated well on TV.
