Went over to the venue again this morning, and the doors were open to the arena. They were setting up! The Q was up, the wings were just being assembled. Also went backstage. No security stopped us, quite amazing. Of course, there were only workers there, no security needed yet. But it was very interesting...they will have to work very fast to have it all in place by 8:00 pm this evening.
I caught a bit of a stomach bug from my son in Taiwan, so I am not my usual bubbly self...but I think I will pull it together by this evening. We are meeting up with some other Glamberts for drinks before the doors open.
If you want to see part of my backstage scenes, I let @germanpianista tweet it, so look him up on Twitter. He needs the fame more than I do, and it is great fun for him to hear from people around the world. I, in contrast, am rather fame-avoidant.
It is being nicely retweeted, and you can hear my voice on it -- I was in shock that I could just walk around like that.
