Anyway, after this year's lot mangles the Queen classics, Adam and Queen will have to remind the public what the real thing sounded like.

There is one "rock" singer on the show, but he is more soft rock . His name is Ben Heanow. He always sounds good, so maybe he can pull off a decent performance.

One Direction and Sam Smith were announced tonight for next week. However, One Direction pre-taped their performance today, likely because they are leaving the UK. I guess their pre-taped perfomance could be always moved to the week after to make room for Queen, but I imagine Adam and Queen already have a later date set and it would be hard to change it just a week in advance.

Is this confirmed that Adam well be performing with Queen I am presuming this Saturday, or next week or when either this is I am confusing my self lol. Just because its Queen vs Michael Jackson Theme Week. It would definately be full circle with Queen and MJ.

The awards are on Tuesday, Brian's book signing is (I think) on Wednesday. That leaves plenty of time to get to the UK for the weekend. I would guess they'd perform on the results show so that would be Sunday.
I just read that One Direction pre-recorded their performance so they could actually air it at another time.
I think it airs on AXS in the US one day later. What your watching was Saturday's performance and tomorrow night should be the results show.

There is no reason why QAL must appear on a week that they are featuring Queen music...x factor doesn't always, or even generally match its guest performers with the theme....I doubt they are going to have a big band performer on next week during big band week (unless Tony Bennett and Gaga appear)...I doubt they're gonna move 1D bc their album drops next week...QAL will either be Nov 16 (a few days after their album drops, but for QAL better that the album already be available when they perform rather than being released 2 days later) or sometime later in the season....if the appearance is to promo Queen Forever, I'm sure the label will have a TV commercial ready to run during the broadcast and they can simply say QAL appearing later in the season or next week or whatever...given that Sam and 1D already announced I think it is clear QAL not performing Nov. 9...my money is on Nov. 16
