I love when genre doesn't matter and a great song is a great song regardless of the label slapped on it. And Girl Crush is a great song!! I am giggling to myself, because I wonder if Adam would have ever seen himself performing on a Country Music Show singing a country song.. This will be his second country song.
Wonder if Randy Travis will be watching.
It should be an entertaining show. As I said, I'm a fan of Blake and Little Big Town. I also like Luke Bryan. Not real familiar with Sam Hunt. Will admit, though, that I'm not much of a fan of one of the acts being honored - Florida Georgia Line. As an old school country music fan, I see them as one of the reasons for the 'bro country' stuff that turned me off of country music.
I just saw that Kenny Rogers is getting a Lifetime Award and Chris Stapleton, who was the hit of the CMA's a few weeks ago, is also getting an award. Two more reasons that it should be an entertaining show.
I also love that Adam will get a chance to show off his talent to a somewhat different viewing audience. And also get a chance to perform in front of artists he wouldn't necessarily have the opportunity to perform in front of.
Is it tomorrow night yet?
