Queen + Adam Lambert performed their two-hour show to an enthusiastic crowd that filled the entire Padang field.




The band performed famous Queen hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s
such as “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Radio Gaga” and “We Will Rock You/ We Are The Champions”, which had the audience singing along.





The concert also screened clips of the original Queen frontman, the late Freddie Mercury
singing popular songs like “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Love Of My Life”.





The band also performed “Under Pressure” as a tribute to David Bowie, who died in January.
The song was written and recorded in collaboration with Bowie in 1981.





Lambert was phenomenal at entertaining the crowd with his “Mercury-esque” performance.

The concert also allowed Queen to shine with lead guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor showing off their skills.





Audience members close to the stage got an up-close encounter with Lambert when he came down to high-five the people near him.





Midway through the performance, Queen guitarist Brian May, look a “selfie” with the entire Padang crowd to memorialise the band’s first performance in Singapore.





The stage lights, laser beams, stage graphics and suberb sound system made the Padang atmosphere electric as people danced to Queen’s greatest hits





The two-hour long concert ended with golden confetti being sent raining down on the audience during the final song, “We Are The Champions”.

It was a beautiful performance by @adamlambert and @brianmayforreal of Queen.
It was beautiful to watch and hear from the balcony of @swissotelthestamford and I'm sure it's electrifying in the pits!!

I worry about Brian because he seams to be out there playing his guitar and not getting much of a chance to re-hydrate. When you are in both heat and high humidity, you don't feel as thirsty as in a dryer climate but you still need to drink plenty. I don't worry about Adam as he is constantly grabbing gulps of water throughout.

One of the most beautiful and surreal 8 minutes of the show as Brian May was elevated up
in the middle of circular lights and lasers while doing a guitar solo. Awesome!




Adam Lambert with all his flamboyance and vocal acrobatics is the best talent to sing Queen songs in place of the late great Freddie Mercury.
