The show has had newer artists perform a hit with the original artist. Meghan Trainor performed with the Backstreet Boys. So, it's possible he could perform with one of the artists who are singing one of their songs. Maybe Cyndi.

Well I Don't expect something new. IT is from 1985-2005. Most of the hit's of the 2000s are all Hip Hop haha. SO don't see Adam doing that. So I am expecting a Bowie Tribute tbh. And I would be fine with that. The Clive Davis performance may have opened up a few doors their. A New Cover be nice. Maybe thrown some MJ in their, he has not done Thriller before. FYI these are the biggest hits from 2000-2005

3kul, I am not sure that they need to be #1's to be Greatest Hits. Usually it is one that has stayed anywhere in the top 10 for a few weeks.

Just curious as to how you narrowed it down to 1 per year as there were many many more #1 hits during that time span. Confused.

I diddn't Narrow it down. They were the biggest hits of that year. Yes their were other hits. I was just listing the #1 hits of those years.

So speculation is Adam well be singing George Michael's Faith. That was a #1 BB hit back in the 80's. So makes sense.

so he is clearly singing either George Michael's Faith, or something from the Faith album...probably Faith, but there are lots of good choices from that album..I'm surprised Adam hasn't covered anything of George's before (on idol in concert, wherever)...great choice...should be fun

The songs I played on that playlist were about 1 minute. Sort of a waste of time to listen to them when you can't hear the whole song!

I watched the last 2 shows and enjoyed them however the sound system isn't great and the band drowns out the voices...at least that is how it is on my TV.

I look forward to seeing the finale and Adam.....that's the only exciting thing happening this week for me!

From what I hear its just short clips. The actual songs is like 3 minutes on tv from what I hear. I would have no problem with Adam singing GM Faith.

How do we know for sure that he is singing a George Michael song from the Faith album?

Is it because that tweet had the word faith in it? Or do we have solid info? If he does sing a song from that album, I would love for it to be I Want Your Sex. I think it suits him better vocally than Faith. Faith, to me, is just SO identifiable with George. I Want Your Sex imo could be played around a little bit more with Adam's voice.

Whatever song he sings will be a treat. So happy that we will hear him and the surprise song in just a few days.
