I'm running out of superlatives to describe Adam Lambert. He was as amazing on Oprah as I thought he would be. I'm sooo thankful that Oprah "gets" him and offered him this platform to impress and inspire the world once again. In addition to his obvious talent, what shines through most is his genuine character and beautiful spirit. Shine on, Adam!!!! <3

My 11 yr. old daughter is an Adam fan and watched the show with me. She didn't know he's gay or any of the controversy surrounding his AMA performance, so as the show progressed I waited for her reaction.

Daughter: "Is Adam really gay, mum? I would never have guessed." She paused for a second, then said, "Well, he does wear tight pants."



Me: "Yes, hon., but the tight pants are a rock star thing. They don't necessarily mean someone's gay. How do you feel about Adam being gay?"

Daughter: [shrugs] "He's a REALLY great singer." Then, "I want to go shopping with him!"

I LOVE her!

I hope he really takes in Oprah's comment that he,Adam, is paving the way for others...such a statement from the great O. And to tell him he's already gone beyond the "gay singer" description. Wow, just Wow!

I'm so impressed with the interview...I feel like a proud parent.

That was a great interview and socially important. She showed not only the AMA kiss, but the Bradam kiss with the purple hair like it was no big deal. If Oprah doesn't think it is a big deal it isn't to middle America. I was so upset after the fuse interview that the Drake/Adam kissing picture was shown while talking about the Bradam pictures.
More Good News. Really Minor after Oprah:
Adam's FYE was voted number 1 video of the day on fuse. They love that video they play it all day.

Just checked Itunes chart. I have no idea where the single/albums were at the beginning of the day, but I checked when Oprah was over here on the east coast, which was about an hour and a half ago. Single was at #31....album (deluxe) #76....album (regular) #109. Just checked again....single #28....album (deluxe) #65 and album (regular)#95. Woo hoo! The power of Oprah!!

Edit:The chart I was looking at is the overall singles and albums charts. I noticed someone posted above about his single being much higher - that's the pop chart. Too many charts to watch :haha: and I don't usually care about that stuff but I couldn't not look.
