Ok so Holly didn't get to interview Adam but she got to ask him two questions during the Q&A session. She asked what his favorite AMA awards show was. he didn't know. And she asked about his colaborators (sp?). I'm sure she will come back here with greater details later and she also has tons of pictures!!
She also followed some of the media around and listened in on thier interviews.
On the TFM shoot he said he was walking through a lot of distruction and was supposed to act like nothing was going on and keep singing.
He hasn't picked the first single yet and he is still recording, possibly for another week or more. But he said its gonna be glam and glitter and dancers and fire!! lol

I'm back!!!

That was both AWESOME and occassionally hilarious!

First I'd like to Entermediamusic (poster here) for letting me be her "photographer" for today. She brought me in as her "assistant" for her media outlet. THAT's how I got in!

I basically spent 2 hours hovering just a few feet away from Adam as I attempted to eavesdrop on his TV interviews, take pictures and chat up some of the other reporters.

I met Dish of Salt/Laura Saltman! I told her the Lambskanks loved her and she started cracking up. I got a hilarious picture of her posing with Adam in the back ground and her sticking her head in the shot. I'll have to get them up this evening.

Ummm...please ask me TONS OF QUESTIONS and I'll do my best to remember.

A quick rundown.

I chatted with Laura Saltman. She's getting a private one on one interview with Adam as I type this. I told her that I heard a rumor that Adam was booked on Saturday Night Live and told her to ask him about it (because I knew I wouldn't get the chance too). She seemed really interested when I said it, so fingers crossed that she asks him!

Terri Seymore was there and interviewed him for a long time They exchanged hugs.

In between interviews there was a lady touching up his make up and fluffing up his hair. That was pretty cute and funny. She was short so he would spread his legs out wide and crouch down for her so she could reach his head. I TRIED to get a picture of it but some jerk photographer kept jumping in front of me!

I just have to say that he was SO made for this. He was SO relaxed, so charming, so patient, so polite with all of the reporters. He got asked a lot of the same questions over and over again and he answered them like he was being asked the first time.

I was eavesdropping on one interview and she must have asked him about his living situation. He mentioned that he had a place and that it had lots of guest rooms for his friends and family to visit. He basically he was pretty much settled in (meaning he got a place. Not 100% sure but it sounded like he's already bought a home).

The other "scoop" was he was giving details on his "Time For Miracles" music video (I believe it was to MTV. Keep an eye out for that because the guy was asking a lot of really good questions). Like Libracats mentioned, he shot scenes were there was a lot of chaos and destruction going on. Riots, looting and stuff. And he was walking calmly through the chaos singing his song focused on the camera.

Adam spent the bulk of his time giving interviews to the television news outlets. By the time they got to the print media/radio we all had to gather in a crowd and shout out questions. I threw out the what was his favorite AMA performance in the past. I was piggy backing on someone else's question. I kinda stumped him because he looked at me and was like "Ummm...can you help me out here?" So I mouthed "Paula Abdul?" He kinda chuckled but before he could say anything else another reporter shot him a question.

My OTHER question I managed to get out was how many songs did HE co-write and with who. He said he co-wrote about 6 or 7. He wrote with Kara Dioguardi and he's written a LOT with Greg Wells (who he's been working with the past few days (out of like 24 or so).

He also said he has about another week of recording. And that after that, once they get all the masters then he and the label will get together and listen to what they've got and start picking songs.

That's all I can think of right now. Please ask me questions, I might remember more stuff!

Oh! And his eyes are just GORGEOUS close up (last time I met him he refused to take off his shades). Ice blue and piercing.

Oh, and I did stare...there...and he was either wearing boxers or going commando because little Adam seemed to be moving around a LOT!

Can I just say, that they put me in the photographers section (I had my own assigned seat and everything!). I was cracking up because EVERYONE around me had these high powered, super zoom lens fancy cameras and all I had was this TINY hand held digital!!

When they had the photo call, I went up with the rest of the photographers - you should have seen me!! It was HILARIOUS!!!

Oh, and keep and eye out for the Extra interview. Terri Seymour asked Adam something the he teasingly refused to answer. He said "I can't say anything about that now! It's a surprise!" I wish I could have heard what she asked but missed it.

Oh, and EVERYONE there was screaming Adam's name! Some called out for Paula, but the majority was for Adam. No one screamed for Snoop Dogg.

I am back now as well. Thanks Hollygo for going with me. It was a big help. I was the second to the last one to interview Paula Abdul after Hollygo left . One advantageed was I got to see Adam again before he left. After he was interviewed by the last of us in a group. He went in the other roomone for interviews for Sirrus radio and AH. I could see him in there. He finished those by the time I was wrapping up with Paula so I had perfect timing. He talked to her while I had a few minutes to ask his publicist a few questions. Then he apologized for interrupting and I got to say goodbye. It was actually Paula who stopped him. More on all of that later. Great write up Holly

Another funny tidbit. I saw Adam's publicist, Roger, come into the room earlier, and I said "Oh, look, there's Roger!" Then Roger turned to me and was like "Hey!" then gave me a hug!? At first I was like "WTF? Uh...OK" then hugged him back.

It was SO WEIRD! I have no idea if he knew who I was or if that was just a publicist thing to pretend they know someone who knows their name.
