I'm not even going to attempt to catch up with this thread after being up late at the AMAs and afterparty. But Adam tore that place up! What a performance! Anyone who thinks this is not the real Adam is living in a fantasy world. He is an artist, and is not concerned with being the biggest commercial star on the planet. If you didn't like it, move along. I loved it and can't wait to see what he has in store for us in future performances and the tour!! <3

We are so in the Adam bubble we analyze every note in the performance, and yeah, it wasn't perfect vocally. But every morning show I've watched hasn't mentioned his vocals, just the visuals. And the visuals were controversial, barrier breaking, and outrageous. Just what Adam wanted to introduce the post-idol Adam to the world.

More comments from 103.5 KISS FM Chicago. One guy called in and said he's straight but saw nothing wrong with two guys kissing on stage and why should that be a problem when Madonna and Brit did it already? The DJ told him about the BJ thing and the guy said "oh, well, maybe he shouldn't have done that".

Either way they can't shut up about Adam. He is obviously ratings gold to them. I think they'll drag this out all day and maybe longer.

I feel every second of Adam's performance has been analyzed but... seriously, this man is out of this world. if his fell was an accident I just have to adore him even more. I have watched that clip several times on YouTube now and barely can tell if it was an accident or done on purpose. Actually at first I thought it was a part of the show. His rolling (to where he probably had to end anyway) was insane! As a former actor/theater geek he probably knows how to extemporize in every freaking situation but it doesn't make it less respectable. I'm really speechless.

Fans can decide what side of Adam they love, but you can't demand Adam to be just that. He is who he is. And that applys to everybody. Nobody is one dimentional and can be put in a nice, neat package, if you really dare to be yourself.
