The Paramount was a cool venue, and intimate enough that all the seats were good. Was happy to see that there were a number of men in the audience. Concert started right on time. Alex Newell (spelling?) was very good. I was impressed! He got a lot of cheers/applause (although one idiot did boo him.

There was about a 40 minute stretch between the end of Alex's set and when Adam started. (Figured i'd let people know so they could plan bathroom breaks, lol!) Boy was on fire! Most of the show was the same as the Australian leg, although he did substitute in These Boys. I was never crazy for that song but, as has happened before, i like it so much more when he performs it live. Was happy that If I Had You was not the reggae version this time. Love the original version better. (Although anything our boy sings is great!) There was a little banter with the crowd (he made fun of his standing there with his hand at his hip "I'm a little teapot!" And joked that he missed all the snow)
Not crazy about the costumes, some of which were different from what we'd seen. That graffiti shorts set was interesting.....Love the comment some fan affectionately wrote about giving him a backpack and he'd be all set for the first day of kindergarden!
