Adam Lambert Releases “Ghost Town” (Video Review) [thumbsup.gif] [thumbs.gif]

The music video for “Ghost Town” is everything and more. The creativity and artistry in the video is something that isn’t seen in many music videos nowadays. I watched it as soon as it came out and thought it was amazing. I love that the video was filmed fully in black and white like the cover, and that the performers all have their own edgy style throughout the video to match the dark scenery.

The beginning of the “Ghost Town” video starts calm, matching the audio of the song while close ups of Adam’s face are shown as he sings the lyrics, “Died last night in my dreams / Walking the streets of some old Ghost Town,” with a serious facial expression across his face. Throughout the video, close ups of Adam are also doubled and overlapping together at times throughout the video to add to the dark trippy vibe of the video.

As soon as the house beat kicks in, Adam’s friends that are casted in the video, both male and female, begin dancing to the track’s whistled hook throughout the thrilling video......

Is anyone prepared to put a date on when we might see GT entering the Billboard Hot 100? All those radio adds surely will have an impact at some point. Mind you, I'm still impatiently waiting for it to enter the NZ Top 40 in my own country.

And one final thought: it's amazing to see GT doing so well in the Middle East, of all places. It's currently at #1 on iTunes in Saudi Arabia, for example. Is this a first for Adam?

From NZ here too. Ghost Town is currently selling well on ITunes. #39 in Pop. That is good. Moderate airplay. ZM or Edge could play it bit more lol but ah well, not the only artist on their rotation got to remember that. So I am thinking it may get a debut on the next NZ Top 40 Chart fingers crossed.
