nica575 wrote: You are right! I am now on my PC/Chrome and the text size is "normal"... so, I'll have to get adjusted to the small font on mac as it is my designated "Adam" computer, and PC is for everything else...

Also the board color is light blue on PC... but the same issue with the contrast between the light background and letters that are not dark enough for comfortable contrast.

In any case - it is all good and the place is wonderful! [thumbs.gif] TY! [0018.gif]
Only the forums/sub-forums have that muted contrast in titles. I felt it was pleasing in a relaxed elegant way. Once you're in a thread reading, the font is black.

Can you confirm that that is what you are seeing?
yup. Muted colors for titles and black for posts. [0072.gif]

OK, I think I got it solved! I went into my Firefox preferences and used the Advanced button in the Content tab to change the "Minimum font size". It was set to "None" but I set it to 16 and it seems to have fixed it. [smile.gif]

I am trying to make a post at the "Ghost town" thread and get this answer:

General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x91\x8D #...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

Preview is working fine and when I click on Submit this shows up.

It is text, two tweets and a pic. [wtf.gif]

You get that error when there's a twitter emoji in there... Delete it and your post will be fine!

It's been a learning curve for all of us. When we first upgraded and I did my first 'Sea of Red' post and got that message... I was in a total panic!!!!! [0144.gif]

Sorry to bother you Marie just when things are going so smoothly [thumbsup.gif], but getting way too many of these in my email even after many attempts to follow instructions, click the link, to remove me from the individual forum updates and also updating my preferences in my profile and requesting no more emails.
Seeing no ""Unsubscribe topic" link" as suggested below and do not want to
use the last link to discontinue emails as it also says it will disable my account [nono.gif] [0035.gif] [think.gif] [0062.gif] ........

Go to your User Control Panel, Manage Subscription, even if it says you are not subscribed to any forum, you have to get rid of all the threads (topics), go to the end of the screen, 'Mark All', Unsubscribe... Do this until there are no topics left.
