I have read John Mayer is to front...The Dead.....

I'm not convinced it was Adam's peeps that got the billing....story was that Brian and Roger decided he deserved it and offered it up. I kinda believe that.

When Queen toured with Paul, it was billed as Queen + Paul Rodgers. So, it makes sense that they went with Queen + Adam Lambert. It only seems fair and right to me. Brian and Roger are very generous to do that. It speaks a lot about their character that they can share a marquee billing with others. The Dead, not so much I see. Wonder how this new collab with John Mayer will be received?

And BTW, I don't think for a second that Adam's peeps got that billing for him.

I agree! Brian and Roger are so comfortable with their well-earned place as rock royalty that they feel 'safe' sharing the limelight with Paul or Adam... Plus they are hella nice guys and adore Adam!!!!!

The difference is, as you said, they formed a new band. John is a part of the new band, Dead & Company. Queen hasn't formed a new band and Adam isn't a member of Queen. That's why he gets the separate billing. Which turned out to be great for Adam having his name up there next to Queen's.

As for next summer...I hope it's one or two festivals and that Adam is far too busy with his own tour to spend any time touring with Queen.

I would like to hear the original message and see whether he really worded it this way.

I would love to hear the exact comment too. Who knows? Maybe Brian is going on how The Cosmos Rocks, the album they did with Paul Rodgers went? It was panned by the critics. And the critics were brutal about it. Brian and Roger wrote at least nine songs for it.

IMO. I think that a Queen and Adam album would do well. Adam, imo has a far more superior voice that Paul. But what do I know?

i could see new music with Bri, Rodger & Adam......possibly an EP....but not labeled as Queen + Adam Lambert.........instead a collab of three incredible artists creating a new sound ....maybe labeled with just their 3 names in bold......don't know marketing....but it wouldn't be Queen + Adam....but a trifecta ....a veery talented trifecta!........

So, the Swedish Rock is the one they are talking about as their big gig activity for the summer? I hope there are lots more like Glastonbury of which I have been reading that Brian wants to perform there.

So nice that the TOH tour is interspersed with some QAL gigs.... My, my, our boy is busy, busy... and he is getting more gorgeous... Any tips about the song Brian has written? I hope Brian will guest while Adam is in his ToH London. Shows how close their friendship is.

Just read that there are so many festivals going on in summer:
Rock in Vienna, Nova Rock, Rockavaria, Rock am Ring, Pinkpop etc etc

Two have been confirmed: Sweden and the other Lisboa....
