Oh my gosh, I was so curious about the outcome of that wicked drumstick toss! He obviously hasn't practiced throwing near-lethal objects. But darn, he sure escaped the wrath of a sex-crazed skank! fear2.gif devil.gif haha.gif
True...I might have had some very potent persuasive bargaining points had I been "injured" :w00t:

OMG...what a night!! Thanks to @DianaKat1, I wound up with 2nd row dead center seat...which turned into
1st row standing at the railing. Then 1 was entrusted with 2 2nd row seats next to the catwalk. So, my seat gave ample opportunity for the pics I tweeted all night....and the 2 extra seats? Well, Imma gonna assume you are enjoying the Talc vids and pics!!
Fitting end to a fabulous tour...I'm was the lucky Skank that got the drumstick Adam tossed. He looked directly at me, probably thought "that b itch has been taking GB pics all night...Imma gonna get her" and tossed the stick at me. A gentle lob it wasn't..so a good thing it hit the railing first. He could have impaled me with that shot...and I could have had M&G's for life!!

I have absolutely no idea...different points for each. My best seats were Philly, Izod, and Toronto. I thought his best performances were Atlantic City & Toronto & MSG. The best audiences...by far Atlantic City, MSG, and Toronto. His most silly, playful self..imho, Atlantic City. Most surprising venue...Atlantic City..who would've thought it??
I loved Chicago, cause it was opening night...but after seeing other shows, I think Chicago was a little tentative for all of them.
Both Vegas shows were awesome...and the venue had the best sound of the tour. But the staging missed something without the full thrust catwalk.
Philly was amazing because we were so close...against the front rail. And they had the nicest security dudes!!
MSG...well, what is there to say...it's THE GARDEN. It was electric, they were pumped and he had as much adrenaline as 500 boys trying to grab him.
Izod was the first time we were front row in the "splash zone"...and for a smaller crowd, they were loud and receptive. Adam liked "Joisey".
Atlantic City...the surprise of my shows. He turned it up, and the crowd responded.
And Toronto? A last minute addition. Thanks, DianaKat! Front row and drumstick! So I now have Roger's autograph and Adam's DNA. I could get pregnant.
Asking me to pick a fav is like asking which of your kids is your favorite!! I'm just so thrilled that this tour went from all the wishes and maybes after Hammersmith to a full blown reality! We had it all...and I am so grateful to have been able to see it live.

Wonderful!! .....
“Once in a Lifetime” concert– Queen + Adam Lambert
August 1, 2014 Jade Moon
This isn’t a review. There’s no way I could write anything remotely objective. These are my thoughts on being something I’ve never had the pleasure of being before– a fan.
And yes, I did travel from Hawaii to Toronto for this concert. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I was THIS CLOSE to Adam Lambert and Brian May.
And no. No, I do not consider myself crazy, or “dangerously obsessed,” as one of my friends said. (I THINK he was joking…) .........
What a thrill. What a high.
But I am a fan and as such, I admit to a certain degree of obsession (After all, the word “fan” probably is short for “fanatic”).
But here’s the thing. That obsession breeds passion. Passion leads to exhilaration. That exhilaration sparks camaraderie among like-minded, equally enthusiastic people and hey, it’s all so much fun!
Best of all? There is the sheer, unfettered, heart-thumping, eardrum-shattering JOY of standing amid a giant throng of 16-thousand swaying, rocking, fist-pumping, singing, screaming fans– losing yourself in the music you love performed by artists you adore.
What a night.
This wasn’t a concert as much as a musical thrill ride....... :w00twave: ........
After two decades as a journalist observing from the sidelines, watching others lose their crap over sports teams, actors, musicians, TV shows and even video games, I finally get to do it myself. And now I understand what being a fan is all about.
It’s love.
I know what you’re about to say and no– I haven’t gone over the deep end. Much  :haha: .
And I know it’s not the same kind of love you feel for your spouse or your child or your closest friends. Wouldn’t it be silly to equate fan love with romantic or familial love? I’m not silly. I’m a fan.
And I repeat– It. Is. Love.
It’s love of an ideal. We are attracted to beautiful, exciting, wonderful things. Things that make us feel good. Things that stir our emotions and draw on our great capacity for loyalty.
Whether it’s an artist, a book, an athlete, a team, a movie, a band– it’s something or someone you admire, respect, exult in, revel in, want to be around, wish the best for, care about deeply.
You give them the gift of your devotion. They give back the gifts of their talent and their equally passionate desire to make you happy.
It’s give and take, desire and emotion. It’s passion and participation.
