Adam Lambert digital magazine launches
A new online magazine inspired by Adam Lambert has launched.
Bedlam, which unleashed its first issue on Tuesday (April 30), sees Lambert fans coming together to contribute articles and interviews.
In a blurb on their website, the free magazine said:
"BEDLAM is an ongoing creative alliance comprised of Adam Lambert fans coming together to share our creative works, ideas, and passion on the pages of Bedlam Fanzine, a FREE interactive digital magazine."
The first issue sits at a massive 234 pages and it can be viewed here. Speaking about the zine, Bedlam said:
"This 234 page rebooted premiere issue explores how fans express their fascination and fanaticism with Adam Lambert! The digital fanzine will feature original art, fashion, essays, humor, photos, commentary, "BEST" lists, playlists, event recaps, recipes, blog profiles, interviews, and much, much more."

It’s no secret we love Adam Lambert and the energy and joy he brings to the otherwise sterile, manufactured world of modern pop music. But he’s such a worldwide whirling dervish that it’s sometimes difficult to keep track of where and when he touches down. So we’re trying out a new weekly feature: Hump Day With Adam Lambert, which will hopefully keep us up-to-date with his appearances, performances, and interviews. Backstage, we chatted briefly with Lambert about his musical influences growing up. Given his stint singing with the remaining members of Queen, Lambert spoke fondly of Freddie Mercury but revealed his early adoration for musical theater. “I watch Glee and think, ‘wow, I was just like [Kurt Hummer],” he said.
It was fitting that Lambert should mention both Mercury and Chris Colfer, given that his acceptance speech touched upon the divide between the “proud rebels” of the Stonewall generation and the younger post-gays whose sexuality does not define them.
“It’s a crucial time. Totally crucial,” he said onstage. “We’re right in the middle of two generations with two perspectives but one common thread: love.”
The singer also told Queerty that he was open to the possibility of guest starring on Glee, being a judge on his alma matter American Idol and playing a rock ‘n’ roll Judas onstage in a reboot of Jesus Christ Superstar.

While some of us may have sent our mom a box of half-eaten chocolates for Mother's Day (It was an accident!), Adam Lambert went above and beyond to thank his mom for being the most amazing parent in the world by taking her to the GLAAD Awards! Now, please stop EVERYTHING you're doing and pay homage to the woman who created our Prince of Glam. Without Adam's mom, we wouldn't have things like Adam's expert smize and neck porn! (Anyone else feel a little weird having the words "mom" and "porn" in the same sentence?)
The "Never Close Our Eyes" singer attended the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco with his mom and shared the photo on Instagram along with the caption, "Mom and I at the #glaadawards both rockin Alexander McQueen on the carpet." Not only was Adam looking FOINE, but he also received the Davidson/Valentini Award which celebrates "a member of the LGBT community who has made a significant difference in promoting equal rights." We can only imagine how proud Adam's mom was to see her son accept ANOTHER coveted honor -- we think she should flaunt that ish for the world to see! Forget those lame "My Child's An Honor Roll Student" bumper stickers. Adam's mom needs one that says: "Honk if you're a proud Glambert! I'm his mom, SO BOW DOWN." (It would have to be a really long sticker.)
