I can see the orange and blue ones on the far left, but not the little tiny ones with the arrow "view unread posts".

Oh well, guess I'll just have to read when I get home...probably shouldn't be peeking in during work anyway

I have a question.  I'm on my desktop computer, but I don't see anything to indicate which posts I've not yet read so it's kind of hard to know where I was or if I've missed anything without just scrolling though each post.
Is there a way to know this by the envelopes?  My envelopes just say "newest post" or something to that effect...and when I click on them it just takes me to the most recent post.  Envelopes aren't indicating to me if there are posts I haven't read yet.

It won't be long 'til Ghost Town is out! :celebrate:

This video is fun, yet frustrating to watch.  One of the commenters said John Lennon didn't like to lip sync - so he made faces, funny dance steps(at the end).   It's also hard to watch since the camera doesn't stay on the singer, John. We can all identify with that.  Not wanting the camera to stray from Adam while he's singing.  It's the Beatles, and I love it.

It's funny my granddaughter (6 years old at the time) asked me how it works if two women are married and have a baby... Why do you need the other woman?

I kinda gulped and explained to her that the woman who did not carry the child is the same as her daddy... He didn't carry her but is a very important part of her life, just as much as mommy...

Her answer was: "Well, I guess if they have a second baby, the one who didn't carry the first one can carry that one... Can I have more cookies?"

I'm serious!!! This is exactly how it went!!!!

I think it's time for my son to have that talk with my 9 year old granddaughter.  Today, while playing Ghost Town for the 20th time (she loves it) she decided to google Adam...but not before asking me if he was married, had a girlfriend, had children. :lmfao:

ofc, I said no, I don't know, and no.  That led to...but does he want to have children...does he want to have a girlfriend.....etc.

Time for that talk...and it ain't gonna be me!!   (the talk about the girlfriend...not the children!)

The phrase "Hands down" is from 19th century horse-racing, when victory was so secure that a jockey could drop the reins and still win.

I know my son is not fond of academics.  School was never his forte, languages and math complete downfalls.  He went from college to being called to active military duty in Kuwait, to coming back and trying to visit a college degree online, while working as an EMT.
Well, now, he believes he's found his calling.  As a commercial diver/underwater welder/underwater medic.
I hope my colorist can keep up with the gray hair sprouting forth.

How old is he? My younger son was exactly like that until he 'fell in' the right job for him 12 years ago at the age of 23!!!! Before that? No job satisfied him. He would get a new job... be over the moon about it... a few days in, his fellow workers were morons... a few more days, the owner (who probably had that business for 30+ years) is an idiot and doesn't know what he's doing.... add a few more days, the customers/clients are a PITA... within a few days of that last realization came the inevitable 'I quit!'... then a month or two of sleeping in until all hours, showering around 7:00 p.m., going out with his friends, rolling in around 4/5 a.m. and passing out... rinse and repeat....

I give him full credit for every white hair I have!!!! :rolling:

Today? He's 34... Has been at the same company for 12 years! Has risen through the ranks of this worldwide outfit, traveled to complete projects in other countries... Loves it... Just asked for a $21K raise and got it, effective immediately! They love him and he loves his work...

So all that to say... there's hope!!!!

Wow!  Just watched two of the most important and fascinating hours of television....the Diane Sawyer interview with Bruce Jenner.  What a brave, brave human being.  Lives will be changed and saved because of Bruce's courage and Diane/ABC's reporting.
