And now I'm home... I've taken care of a few 'urgent' things (Soundcloud for yesterday's streams, announcement for tomorrow's show, created the set lists in the OP for all 4 venues)... Now about my trip...
To all of you who dreaded what trouble I would get into THIS time, you can relax, nothing untoward happened... although I did have a long conversation with the border guy who is now going to try to catch an Adam show while he's in the U.S..... heeeheeheeheeee
I had a meet and greet with Adam... I introduced myself as 'madamimadam' and he laughed and called me "Madam"... now he'll know who to call if he ever needs an escort.... OYVE! My reputation is made!!!!
As I was walking away, he said he loved my nails... I was FLOORED!!!! I had made a mess of them on Wednesday and redid them on Thursday... Here's a pic....
I saw Tiki posted my pic with Adam so I won't bore you with it again. I hate myself in pictures... they never do me justice, not because I think I'm good looking, but it never depicts my 'vibrancy'.... Oh, well... at least now you guys know who you're dealing with... not her...
In Atlantic City, I sat in the second row, dead center... I know he has tons of gorgeous things about him, but I was completely mesmerized by his hands... They are delicate and yet manly... very refined looking... His eyes! My God, his eyes!!!!
He had the most fun when he was singing Fever... He was such a hoot!!! I don't think he even needed an audience, he was just having a grand ole time!
I did mention on twitter that he went over to an 80 year old man in the front row (right side) and yelled at him to WAKE UP and proceeded to dry hump him... The guy was a really good sport! He got up, gave Adam a 'manly' handshake and laughed his head off... Adam stuck his tongue out at him and gave him the 'rocker salute' (index and pinky finger up the others curled down). It was hilarious!
Then this little girl kinda snuck to the front down the aisle and Adam went over to her, took her hand to make her twirl but she didn't know what to do, but he lead her through it and she got it right... She had the biggest grin on her face afterwards. AWWWW!!!!
Also, I never noticed in the videos but when he sings TOH and the three of them dance to stage right and crouch down, Adam 'hands over the joint' to Terrance who 'takes a hit'... So funny!!!!!
I ended up losing the pouch I keep my external power packs in and never got it back... Not worth $$$$ but I loved it because it was so convenient and 'familiar'.... Oh, well!
In New Brunswick, I ended up sitting in front row loge (above the main floor and about half-way back from the front of the stage.... It was a completely different experience... I got to REALLY see the production... the imagery, the light show, the choreography... It is all truly spectacular when viewed from further back. Adam has come a long way from GNT which was great as it was, but this is setting the bar way higher!!!!
There was a little girl (about 9 years old) sitting next to me. She sat back in her seat during Alex's set but clapped and smiled... Once Adam got on, she was on the edge of her seat (her mom wouldn't allow her to stand for fear of her falling over the little wall). She knew EVERY WORD to EVERY SONG and was so cute when she sang "shit" or "fuck". She kind of side-eyed her mom who had just sang the same words and mom just smiled at her... It was adorable to watch.
Also, for people who think the show is not appropriate for children, I paid close attention to the little girl when Adam did his 'signature move' when he sings "I'll show you what is cold" (which he did with the aid of his microphone filling in for his peanus last night)... The little girl never flinched or reacted in any way... To her, it was just part of Adam dancing... As has been said in the past, if the children are young enough, they don't 'get it' and if they do 'get it', then they're old enough!
He had a new 'camouflage outfit' on last night which was gorgeous with the lights... there were strips that reflected the lights across his chest, arms and legs... Stunning!
Anyways, that's all I've got for now... If I remember more, I'll post again... DUHHHH!!!!!
And for those of you wondering about my gambling... I didn't 'use' all of my budget, so it was a good trip!
And we are doing fine.
