Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to my friends on my computer

Going to my parents' house tomorrow, as is our annual tradition....it's an all-day affair. It'll be a small gathering this year as daughter is still in Japan (haven't seen her for 2 years) and son is spending xmas with "in-laws", his girlfriend's parents, as is my nephew and his wife. But that's what happens as the kids grow up and their circles expand.

I'm spending Christmas Day at home with my parents, and we're bringing my 92 year old grandpa over to the house for Christmas, and my sisters & their kids are all coming over. Going to be a full house!

I will be working but i celebrated today instead.

I enjoyed the past week spending my time with my son who lives out of town but he had to get back home Friday because he had to work yesterday. I enjoyed his company while I looked for a car, went out to eat a few times and helped him buy 6 months of supplies from Costco. I plan to have a quiet Christmas day with my other son who lives with me and very rarely has a day off at the same time as me. I just went grocery shopping and will be cooking a nice dinner tomorrow for the two of us.

On the car front, besides buying a new one, I also managed to sell my old van to a mechanic who couldn't believe what great shape the body and interior of my old car was in. Hopefully he can make all the needed repairs to get it back into good running condition and find a solution for the door lock problem. It was a great family transportation vehicle and I think it could be again!

... and the board is all set for 2018!!!!

Me this morning: oooohhhh, those cookies I brought home last night will be good with my coffee.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas, whether with friends or with family. My favorite part of Christmas is getting together with my family...it's about the only time of the year where we're all in the same room....

Just per rumors (no idea if true or not), 2018 could be just as busy....let's keep our fingers crossed for that new music.

Hrithika has been a godsend!!!! Thank you for holding up the fort when things got so crazy with the shows and in between when I ran off to the mountains!

All the 2017 stuff has been 'archived'...

I spent the day with my son and his future in-laws... What a wonderful day it's been... Now I'm zonked and ready to go to sleep!
