Who is he with now, management-wise? Was it ever officially announced that he'd parted ways with DMG, like it was when he parted ways with 19E?rustycat wrote:no surprise re no timing for release of new solo stuff....its clear whatever he had last summer was trashed in whole or in part (whether that is because Adam didn't like it or the label didn't like it who knows...) and he basically started over and isn't done yet...and even if he was done, with changes at the top of the label things are likely in flux re future mainstream pop releases...not to mention his management change...
We don't know who his new management is (assuming he already has new management in place...he may not yet). There was no "official" announcement. But that isn't surprising. Usually management changes are not news unless there is something salacious or gossipy behind it, although sometimes new management will put out a press release. It was news when Adam left 19E because of the Idol angle. Not really news leaving DMG during a quiet period. Maybe the new Oz/NZ tour programs will list his new management/maybe not. I do think it is interesting that within a few weeks of disappearing from DMG website he was back with Shosh.Paula wrote:Who is he with now, management-wise? It sounds logical. Thanks, rustycat!rustycat wrote:Paula wrote:Who is he with now, management-wise? Paula, based on Adam's "thank yous" in the new QAL OZ/NZ program it looks like Adam's new management is likely Philymack management. That is Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, DNCE and Iggy Azalea's manager. And Phil McIntyre -- the Phil in Philymack -- is going to be an exec producer on the new Idol and be responsible for working with the talent. Adam isn't on any of their websites or social media yet, but I wouldn't be surprised to see something at some point in the spring. Can't think of any other reason for thanking them, and its a reasonable place for Adam to have moved to. So we will see.
