Gosh such a throwback the great singers of 70s when singers could sing! Queen & Adam Lambert at the O2 Jan 17 2015 http://youtu.be/mEynhKWQFpk
...we can safely say that Lambert was the perfect choice to take on such a role.
...- a true entertainer.
...Lambert's stunning vocals in Who Wants To Live Forever is also up there, with the eccentric singer just standing there in a ghost- like atmosphere,
...we're pretty certain this is just the start of an even bigger future for the frontman, who despite being incredibly OTT, did Freddie Mercury proud last night.

Adam Lambert doesn't try to imitate Freddie Mercury which is why him & Queen work. He's naturally similar in some ways but unique in others.

Well, #Queen was entertaining - Adam Lambert's voice is just ridiculously good. Highlight a deliciously demented Killer Queen.

I've got a newfound respect for @adamlambert because he's got the balls and talent to replace the iconic Freddie Mercury and and be original

I'm pretty sure the links to these reviews have probably been posted but I just wanted post some highlights.
Queen + Adam Lambert, O2 Arena, review: 'spectacular'
No-one can better fill Freddie Mercury's shoes better than Lambert says Catherine Gee
On stage, Lambert was the first to pay tribute, saying warmly, “I love him just as much as you.”
Lambert looked entirely at home.
The 32-year-old’s talent is truly staggering, with a range, clarity and tone that make him one of the world’s great vocalists.
For a brilliantly camped-up version of Killer Queen, a pouting Lambert draped himself on a purple chaise longue. Spitting a long jet of champagne out onto the crowd, he seductively asked an audience member, “Did I get you wet, lady?”
As a performance, it was empowering. During those less enlightened times, Mercury himself could never risk being so verbally sexual in public. He could never risk being completely honest about his sexuality either - as the openly gay Lambert can now.
No one will ever be able to replace Freddie Mercury, this much we know. But there’s currently no one else who could better fill his shoes and put on such a spectacular show than Adam Lambert. And it only took May and Taylor two decades to find him. [/i] http://www.storiesfromthemoshpit.com/gig-a...nuary-17th-2015
Go read this entire article, it's quite fun! But here are some highlights...
#251 Queen and Adam Lambert @ London O2 Arena (January 17th 2015)
As for Lambert? Well he doesn’t have the rock background or rock pedigree and I for one was highly sceptical of what he could bring to Queen. Yet as it turns out he is a front man who not only looks the part but also possesses all the showman qualities needed. Most importantly of all he has one hell of a voice.
While God Save the Queen is played and the band take their bows I look up to the ceiling and not only manage to swallow half the glitter that is coming down but also curse that I hadn't booked more than one concert….hmmm...I may have to rectify that.
2 hours and 15 minutes that blew the January blues away. If you have your doubts then take it from me Adam Lambert should not be underestimated. Yes by fronting Queen he has undoubtedly done his profile no harm at all in Europe. Yet he has also done the same across the pond for Queen. Lambert is breaking down barriers in America in more ways than one and it is great to see a new showman in town.
