I'm headed out there soon! It's a hot day in L.A., but I don't know if they will cut off the number of people he will sign for, so I will stand there. The things we do for our guys, huh?

He's a very nice man, indeed. I got there about 4:00 pm and was probably about a third of the way back in line, around the block. People waited very patiently. We didn't get up to him until 7:50, so 1 hour, 50 minutes after they started letting people in. He spent a great deal of time with everyone.
Right before our turn, he asked to take a 5 minute break. We said "of course!". He looked so tired, and it was somewhat difficult for him to stand up straight. When he left, that gave me some time to chat it up with his assistant and the store staff. At that point, they figured that there were about 400 people in line.
When he came back, he spoke with me for a while, and his assistant took several pictures of the exchange. I told him that I started as an Adam fan, and that we now have adopted him, too. He talked about how much they care for Adam. I described the shows I'd seen lately, and that we would be in Ireland. I also talked about being a psychologist, and he looked right at me and asked if I had any advice for him. I told him that he wouldn't follow it; that he needs to take some more time for himself. He said that it doesn't work for him, it's not good for him not to be busy.
What a nice man. And a lovely experience...

Wow, that must have been exhausting for Brian....so many people ! He seems like such a lovely person....every time I see him in an interview or talking about Adam, I just want to smoosh him.
Thanks for your recap, Sandyrk.

Sandy...You are so lucky to meet and be able to talk to Brian. It's sad that he is so hard on himself when he isn't busy enough. Adam has become is his muse, motivator, grateful collaborator and friend which is the best medicine for Brian.
